Paris Hilton talks about spending years questioning her sexuality.

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, American TV personality Paris Hilton revealed that, despite her wild reputation in Hollywood in her 20s, she thought she was asexual.

During the interview, Paris Hilton mentioned that at the time it was reported that she was romantically involved with a different celebrity every week, but she asserts that her deeply disturbing sexual experiences—in furthermore to a sex tape published against her will in 2004, she shares in Paris about becoming aimed and prepped by a male teacher in middle school—have made her a nasty person.

The hotel heiress acknowledged that she felt a connection with her now-husband, Carter Reum when they happened to meet at a family friend's Thanksgiving gathering in 2019. Paris clarified that she realized at the time that she is not asexual and also that she enjoys hooking up with her husband, and that Carter Reum did help her comprehend why she was struggling to find love.

Paris said that Carter is not famous, but he is smart, comes from a very nice family, and is a good person, adding that it was the opposite of what she had been used to when she was looking for guys. They fell in love quickly, moved in together during the pandemic, and were married in November 2021. She explained that she just feels like after all the hell she has been through, she is finally getting what she deserves, which is someone she can trust and someone to build a real life with.

Paris Hilton and Carter Reum recently had a baby via surrogacy, and her baby's impending existence was a mystery to the rest of the world at the time, recognized only to Paris Hilton, her husband, Carter Reum, and their surrogate. Even their immediate family members were oblivious until she revealed his arrival on Instagram. Paris Hilton stated that her entire life has been so public, and she has never had anything at all for herself, adding that the couple has decided to keep this overall experience to themselves.

The hotel heiress' partying days came to an end in 2007 when she was punished to 45 days in an L.A. County jail for a violating probation related to a careless driving charge.  The same night she was processed, she decided to attend the MTV Movie Awards, and standup comic Sarah Silverman joked that Paris Hilton is going to jail and everyone applauded. Sarah added that she had heard that the security officers are trying to paint the bars to look like penises to make her feel much more comfortable in prison. The camera panned towards Paris Hilton's face who was clearly uncomfortable and Sarah Silverman later apologized. Paris Hilton appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman a few months later, after she'd did serve her sentence (she was released after 23 days for good behavior), and sat through nearly five minutes of hysterical grilling about her time in jail. As she started walking off the set, she kept begging him to stop and cried. Later, David letterman apologized.

Paris stated in the interview that the treatment of her, Britney Spears, and Lindsay Lohan at the time was a sport, referring to the trio's appearance on the cover of the New York Post in 2006, above the headline "Bimbo Summit." She claimed they were just young girls going through life and attending a party when they were made villains. The DJ learned to numb herself to it, which she attributes to CEDU's rap session, noting that they would sit there for hours verbally attacking each individual in the room, and she was used to it.

Paris stated that she is so proud of the woman she has now become because she conducted all of that with her for so long, noting that all of the negative, derogatory slurs they would say every single day stayed with her. She felt insecure at the time, and now she believes that people finally respect her and recognize her in ways that they never did before.

Her autobiography, Paris: The Memoir, which comes out this month, puts Paris Hilton squarely in charge of her cultural repositioning: "How can we not recognize that the treatment of It Girls equates to the treatment of all girls in our culture?" She also spoke out for the first time in the 2020 documentary This Is Paris about the abusive behavior she faced as a high school student after her parents, Rick and Kathy Hilton, enrolled her in a series of hostels that pledged to reform troubled youths. She has since emerged as a prominent advocate for putting an end to the so-called rebellious teen industry; in 2021, she voted in support of a bill to further regulate Utah schools, and she is currently pushing for federal reform.

In February 2021, Paris Hilton testified before a state-senate committee hearing at the Utah capitol about the allegations of abuse she had suffered at CEDU, Provo, and other schools. When contacted for comment, the current CEO of Provo Canyon School issued a statement stating that Provo Canyon School was sold by its previous owner in August 2000 and as a result, they are unable to comment on operations or student experiences before that date. They do not support or condone any form of abuse.

Paris Hilton finally said that it’s a good feeling to not feel like some cartoon character all the time, it's a really good feeling.
