Paul D. DelVecchio Jr., better known as DJ Pauly D, is an American television personality and DJ who rose to prominence after appearing on MTV's reality show "Jersey Shore." He was the first Jersey Shore cast member to have his spin-off show, "The Pauly D Project." His appearance on the show garnered him "really ardent followers," according to TIME. He was named the 2011 Teen Choice Award winner for Male Reality Star. In June 2012, he was a competitor on the Fox show The Choice. "We're betting Pauly D won the role because he actually appears fun and easy to get along with," TIME reports.

DJ Pauly D said in a recent interview with People that he and his girlfriend, Nikki Hall, are still going strong and that the pandemic has helped them work on and deepen their relationship. DJ  Pauly declares, "The pandemic gave us a chance to focus on our relationship. And we were able to actually film, too. It's cool to bring her along because she's a friend of my Jersey Shore family as well as their family. So it's been great. It's been a good time, and we're just taking it day by day. We're happy."

Pauly D said in an interview with InTouch that Nikki Hall has met his daughter, Amabella Sophia Markert who is 7-year-old now. He elaborated on his relationship by saying, "I have never spent so much time with any person. Through this pandemic, I am full of surprises. I grew myself a beard and got a girlfriend. It’s pretty crazy how my relationship has grown. This whole quarantine thing has been a blessing and a curse. It pulled the tour away from me, but it brought me closer to my relationship with Nikki. "

The couple met on the inaugural season of MTV's dating show "Double Shot at Love," where they had instant chemistry and Nikki even made it to the conclusion, but Pauly D broke things off and their relationship before the show concluded. Nikki returned for season two, reigniting their romance, and the two ended up staying together after the show finished. They later announced they were living together.

DJ Pauly D and Nikki Hall are now working to find Vinny Guadagnino, DJ's best friend, the love of his life on the third season of the dating show "Double Shot at Love". All three of them are delighted to appear in the third season of the dating reality program, and now that Nikki and a female viewpoint have joined the cast, the best friends will have an easier time finding love for Vinny. Her presence added to the show's overall appeal. Fans are excited to see more of Pauly D and Nikki on TV, in addition to her distinct perspective. They are, after all, "live proof," according to DelVecchio, that the format can work.

"Nikki and I have been through this process," DelVecchio, 41, says. "So you get to witness us take this kid's hand in ours and walk him through the dating experience and what it's like. And then things get out of hand. It's insane!"

Although the DJ did give Nikki a ring in the mid-season premiere of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," it was only to commemorate their first anniversary. There have been whispers that the couple is on the verge of getting engaged and possibly marrying.

"I never really envisaged what a woman for me would look like until I met Nikki," Pauly says. "And that's when I realized." Despite never dating, Pauly D and Amanda Markert had a daughter, Amabella Sophia Markert. Pauly D didn't realize he was a parent until after Amabella was born because the now-7-year-old was the result of a one-night affair in the summer of 2012. The DJ attempted to gain full custody of the child, but she currently lives in New Jersey with her mother. In a 2013 interview, he stated that he is a proud parent who is excited about starting this new chapter in his life.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Pauly D’s best friend, and co-star on "Jersey Shore," shared that the gang met Nikki on "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" and they were really happy to meet her. Mike stated, "You could just tell the way that she is with Pauly — like, this is the one, probably. Quite possibly, Nikki and Pauly could be the next Jersey Shore family wedding."

On Saturday, Oct. 30, he'll perform at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he's had the longest-running residency since the club started nearly 15 years ago. "It felt incredible when I finally got the call that they were going to reopen [the club]," DelVecchio adds. "Everyone was asking when I was going to be in AC, and I had no idea."

He continues, "The first thing I did was call all the cast members. Yep, Atlantic City,' I say. 'We're shackled.' And they were ecstatic because they always look forward to seeing me there." DelVecchio says he's "simply pleased, lucky, and grateful to be back at it again, doing what I love to do in front of a live audience. I really missed it. There was no way I could do any more live streams!"
