Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent documentary series, "Harry and Meghan," has been revealing more about their decision to step down from their roles as senior working royals, along with giving the viewers a little bit more about their love story and the treatment of them in the royal family.

For the next three episodes which will be released on December 15th, the Duke and Duchess will be dwelling in detail about why they chose to step down from their roles as senior working royals. The audience can hear Prince Harry say in the new teaser that the couple was the victim of institutional gaslighting and that they were treated differently by the press than his brother Prince William. Prince William is now first in line for the British throne.

At one point, Prince Harry says to the camera that they were happy to lie to protect his brother Prince William, but they would never tell the truth to protect them. Meghan Markle continued that she wasn’t thrown to the wolves but was being fed to the wolves, stating that their security was being pulled and everyone in the world knew where they were. The newly released trailer went ahead to claim that the royal family was recruiting people to disseminate stories about the couple that was untrue.

In Volume I of the series, Meghan Markle shares her experience upon meeting Prince William and Kate Middleton for the first time, adding that she was surprised by the royal couple’s formality. She explained that the couple came for dinner and she was in ripped jeans and barefoot, and she realized that it was jarring for a lot of Britishers to be hugged, adding that she has always been a hugger.

Meghan Markle detailed further that she started to understand very quickly that the formality on the outside carried through on the inside for the couple and other members of the British royal family, adding that it did surprise her.

The trailer also showcases the couple along with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, and their life in Montecito. They add that moving to Montecito has helped them have a chance to create the home that they have always wanted, and Prince Harry adds that he has always felt as though the fight they had to put up was worth it in the end.
