Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and actor-singer-songwriter Nick Jonas are no doubt the Internet’s one of the Internet's most loved and mushy couples, and the two never shy away from showcasing the love they have for each other on any occasion. The two married in a fairy tale wedding in India where the two married in both a white wedding and a Hindu ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family.
After a successful Bollywood career, Priyanka took a turn towards Hollywood and has many projects in her kitty. The actress is currently in Spain, filming a series ‘Citadel’ with co-star Osy Ikhile. Between a hectic schedule of shooting, she took to her social media to share a couple of pictures from her 'perfect day off in Valencia, Spain. She captioned the pictures, 'A perfect day off. #aboutyesterday'
In pictures that Priyanka shared, she can be seen donning a golden one-piece swimsuit and later in a red bikini. Her mother, her pet, and a couple of friends are seen having a good time with her. Nick Jonas, who is currently on tour with his brothers, took the opportunity to appreciate his gorgeous wife by commenting, ‘Damn girl’.
Jessica Mulroney commented, "Gorgeous yellow suit", along with Oghenekaro Itene commenting "So beautiful" and "You’re so stunning." Priyanka’s day off comes a few weeks after celebrating her husband’s 29th birthday. At the start of September, the two went golfing with Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas at the Scottsdale National Golf Club.
In a recent Victoria Secrets' VS Voices podcast, Priyanka was asked about whether Nick understands the fact that she had a different upbringing in India, to which the Global star replied, "I think he and his family are so deep-rooted and come from service, and he's very giving and, at the same time, he's very understanding of one of those traits I love about him, understanding of different people of being different and acceptance of the world made up of all kinds of people and that's the family we are."
Priyanka further shared that she feels amazing that both of them were raised in different parts of the world with the same beliefs and value system and neither of the two has many ideas of each other’s career because they are busy building their careers. "I didn't know much about the Jonas Brothers, and he definitely didn't know much about me. It was fascinating when we got together to sort of not just have our cultures marry and clash but to also be able to peel layers of getting to know each other's lives, and we've both had two decades of public lives, and we got to experience that all over and that was lovely," she added.
The actress and former beauty queen, during a literature festival, shared that both Nick,and she had taken time to explore their work after marriage. She quoted, "After we got married, we did sort of a ‘show and tell’. He showed me his earlier music and work, and I showed him a few of my movies, but Nick (Jonas) loves Dil Dhadakne Do. He has watched it multiple times."
Earlier in an interview with Marie Claire, Priyanka Chopra had shared about her bond with Nick Jonas’ family and revealed how despite staying a few yards away from Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, she and Nick never get to meet them much due to their busy schedules. However, whenever they meet, it is an enormous affair with their entire family sitting down together.
'Citadel' is going to be Priyanka Chopra’s first series for a digital platform, and it stars Game of Thrones alum and Eternals star Richard Madden. Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of Avengers: Endgame, will serve as executive producers. Priyanka has shot most portions of the show in England before she and the team headed to Spain.
Besides the series, Priyanka has several projects in the pipeline. She will soon appear in The Matrix: Resurrections, led by Keanu Reeves. She also has Text For You, an untitled wedding comedy with Mindy Kaling, Cowboy Ninja Viking, the Sangeet project with Nick Jonas, and the Bollywood movie Jee Le Zaraa, with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
