Global star, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband singer Nick Jonas even though living abroad hosted their own Diwali celebration on Thursday to honor the five-day Indian festival in Los Angeles, USA, where the couple performed Lakshmi Puja at their house where they invited some guests from the industry including Chrissy Teigen, and John Legend, as well as actor and former White House staffer Kal Penn.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to social media to share a glimpse of the celebration and shared some pictures that were captured by restaurateur Maneesh K. Goyal. According to a news release, actress Mindy Kaling also sponsored a Diwali dinner party in cooperation with media business Phenomenal and cosmetics brand Live Tinted to showcase South Asian women's voices in the media and entertainment industries. Priyanka Chopra Jonas, novelist Meena Harris, actress Lilly Singh, actor-comedian Liza Koshy, and "Never Have I Ever" star Poorna Jagannathan were among the renowned South Asian women who attended the celebration.
