Raj Kundra filed for bail yesterday in a sessions court along with his associate Ryan Thorpe. This is in connection to the pornography content creation as well as the streaming case through the Hotshot App. A Metropolitan Court previously denied them bail on July 28. The matter is now adjourned till August 10, when judge Sonali Agarwal has reportedly asked the prosecution to file her response. Kundra and Thorpe were arrested by Mumbai police on July 19 and are now in judicial custody.
On another side of the story, Mumbai Sessions Court has also not allowed any relief in the same case to actress Gehana Vasisth. This was in response to a pre-arrest plea deal filed by the actress last week. The next hearing, in this case, is scheduled today. She has also demanded that Mumbai Police share their versions of WhatsApp content with the rape victim to her.

According to the Times of India, Vasisth said "I was arrested on February 4, my phone and laptop were confiscated by the police. Those devices have all the chats where the same girl is thanking me for giving her work and at times asked for more money which I willingly gave not knowing what her intention was. All I expect from the police is that my chat with the girl should be brought forward and produced in court."
"She must’ve seen what she had shot while dubbing the film and has given a NOC for the movie, too," the actress added. The actress has claimed that the girl who is the main complainant has about 50 such videos. She added that these films were shot in the January of 2020.
"I was arrested in February 2021, why didn’t she come forward after that and took so much time to file the case? I guess this is because I have come out in support of Raj Kundra. She has been planted so that I get scared and stop speaking out the truth," she went on to say.
"I am the fourth and her allegations are identical. It is rather strange that she was forced to shoot but continued to work with them and now she claims rape,” the actress had then added.
The actress also went nude on Instagram a few days ago and posted the question, would you call this nude?
Gehana had told ETimes before, “His arrest is completely illegal because the police have kept him in custody for 7-8 days and in the meanwhile they have taken his mobile phone, laptop, CDs and bank account details. If they want to make enquiries, they have enough proof already. Where is the need for them to keep him in custody? The chargesheet has been filed for months now.” This was in realtion to the arrest of Raj Kundra in an alleged pornography case.
She further added, “They claim that 91 videos have been found. They can say anything. Where is the proof? They had said the same thing when I was arrested; that they had found 80-odd videos. That is the reason I conducted a live video session yesterday, where I was nude. It wasn’t vulgar and didn’t fall under the porn category. Cover dekh ke andar ki cheez decide kar lena galat baat hai (You can’t judge a book by its cover). Raj Kundra’s name was not mentioned in the chargesheet and if it was mentioned why was he not arrested back then. Why did the police swing into action after 6 months?”

In connection to the same case, Poonam Pandey, had earlier told the TOI, “When I signed an MOU with them, which lasted for a month, it became clear that they were cheating and were extremely unprofessional. I terminated my contract with immediate effect. Getting into a professional collaboration with these people was the biggest mistake I made in my life. They are frauds. My life became an open book. I went through another level of trauma. I cursed myself for sharing my passwords and credentials with their team. When we reached out to Raj’s team, we were told that we won’t be paid until I signed a contract with them and started working with them again. I flatly refused. How could I do it knowing that these guys hacked into my accounts and personal space? Yeh log samajhte kya hain khud ko (Who do they think they are)?”
