Rami Malek, the antagonist of "No Time To Die," made his Saturday Night Live debut on season 47 on October 16, 2021, with Young Thug as a musical guest. His debut drew applause from the audience, and his introductory monologue did not disappoint.

In his introductory monologue, the "Bohemian Rhapsody" actor, who won an Oscar for his depiction of Freddie Mercury, stated, “I don't usually do comedy - I have what they call resting villain face. I know most people would rather play the hero, but weirdly, I've always been more drawn to villains. He also added that he sympathizes with villains similar to Scar from The Lion King, as he said, “I found Simba to be annoying. Do you want to be king? You’re like 3 years old. Relax. And Silence of The Lambs, poor Hannibal. That lady keeps coming in and asking the guy questions - like leave him alone! I think a lot of them are misunderstood...like Dracula. Thirsty... Darth Vader...just trying to reconnect with his son. Freddy Kruger? Encouraging kids to dream.”

Rami and Pete Davidson's musical tribute to Netflix's globally successful show 'Squid Game' was one of the event's highlights, along with his amazing monologue. Big Wet, whose song “Turn Up On the Weekend” served as the inspiration for the sketch, joined the duo. Two down-on-their-luck old boys, anxious to keep their trucks and pups, are dragged into the blood-splattered hit TV show's dystopian nightmare. Never mind that Davidson only took home $47.89 after converting his earnings to US currencies.

Bowen Yang's Daddy Long Legs arrived to murder all the other diligent student bugs in his Bug Assembly sketch, which was one of the best portions of the event. He was ready to slut drop and teach, dressed in blue spandex and high heel boots, with a small sequin cap and a large spider booty. His professors questioned aloud, "What does a Daddy Long Leg eat?" "Boys, boys, BOYS!" exclaims the crowd.

Kenan Thompson and Rami Malek also did a quick comedy for Jordan Peele's upcoming biopic, in which Rami was praised for his performance as a nice Prince and Thompson portrayed a cheery grape juice. Daniel Craig, who played James Bond alongside Rami Malek in "No Time To Die," also appeared on the show in a Robin Hood prince costume and asked, "Is it too late to audition for the prince?" It's a horror film, after all. Isn't it about racism? I've arrived and am prepared. "Can I at least give it a shot?" Craig stayed for a second sketch, which was timed to coincide with his March 2020 hosting appearance promoting No Time To Die, which would be pushed back due to COVID. The sketch further ends with Thompson, Malek, and Craig all performing the musical snippet together.

The night's musical guests included Young Thug and Travis Barker on drums. In the early hours after the show, Saturday Night Live posted a cut-for-time sketch for the film "Brutal Marriage" on their YouTube channel, which featured the two actors playing stereotypical movie versions of embattled husbands and wives trying — very unsuccessfully — to keep their relationship alive.

The crowd praised Rami Malek's performance as the psychotic Lyutsifer Safin, bioterrorism seeking world control, and 007's love interest Madeleine (Lea Seydoux). "I kept reminding myself that James Bond might be powerful and a hero to all," Rami told USA TODAY. But no one is a more formidable foe, possessing greater force or intelligence, than Safin. That's how he sees himself."

Rami Malek was also present at the Hollywood Walk of Fame event for James Bond star Daniel Craig, where he said it was a pleasure to work with him. "If you're lucky enough to portray a terrible person, make sure the good man is famous," he continued.
