Ambyr Childers was recently granted a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband and producer, Randall Emmett.
Randall Emmett was ordered by a Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge to keep 100 yards away from his ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, at home, work, and in her vehicle. The court allowed the exes to exchange their children for court-ordered visits in a relatively short and peaceable exchange. Ambyr Childers and Randall Emmett were married from 2009 to 2017 and had two daughters, Rylee and London. Ambyr Childers requested a temporary order of protection in October, claiming she had a legitimate fear for her security and well-being" after uncovering threatening messages among Randall Emmett and his attorney.
According to the report, Randall Emmett's temporary injunction will expire upon the conclusion of a hearing scheduled for January 12th at 8:30 a.m., in which more details are said to be needed to evaluate whether Ambyr Childers will be given a domestic violence restraining order against her ex-husband or not. Childers asserted in a court filing that on December 6, she was approached by an FBI agent who brought into question Randall Emmett's alleged involvement in child trafficking and child molestation.
She went on to say that after she received a call from an FBI agent who had asked about her ex-husband's involvement in pedophilia and child trafficking, it had caused severe ruination and disturbance of her sentimental peace and tranquility of mind since their daughters, London and Rylee are commonly alone with Randall Emmett while he might be trying to engage in acts of violence of child exploitation and/or pedophilia.
Randall Emmett has denied all suspicions, which include that he is under FBI investigation, and has called Ambyr's claims absurd. He stated in a comment that there is no proof that he is being investigated for something and that as the father of three children, he is shocked and disgusted that Ambyr would even imply something so repulsive and untrue. Randall stated that her other assertions are all categorically false and that anyone can say anything they want in a plea—it doesn't make it true.
The producer stated in his statement that it is also important to point out for the people to know that the former couple continue to share 50/50 custody of their children, adding that these claims are yet another attack and set of lies from Ambyr designed to harm his career with no proof. When Ambyr's TRO request was rejected in October, a spokesperson for Randall Emmett stated that his client was delighted that the judge determined that none of these claims had merit and rejected the request.
Randall posted a video on social media on Friday declaring that the lies against him had been stretched a lot and that they had spent a great deal of time obtaining verification since they knew there was no truthiness in any of this and that the FBI has never investigated him and isn't investigating him. After all, there's nothing to look into. He stated that he has possession of his daughters because he is a good father, and that is finally what is important to him. He added that at the end of his life, no no matter what happens, he will look his three daughters in the eyes and they will know their father was a good man.
The Los Angeles Times, which originally published an investigation last summer into accusations made that Randall Emmett provided roles in his film projects in exchange for sexual favors, which he rejected, reported on Thursday that the FBI contacted at least three other unidentified people and questioned them about Randall Emmett.
An attorney for the actress told the Los Angeles Times that if Randall Emmett believes Ambyr Childers is lying, he should take the case to court rather than to the media, and they can confirm that Randall Emmett's previous counsel has never managed to reach out to discuss a settlement. An attorney for Randall Emmett's ex-wife, Lala Kent, with whom he has a daughter, Ocean, told the Los Angeles Times that the allegations are deeply concerning.
