In support of World Mental Health Day, Selena Gomez expresses that she is grateful.

Actress-singer Selena Gomez’s upcoming documentary "My Mind & Me" trailer was recently released on World Mental Health Day in support of global mental health education and awareness and she is opening about feeling grateful. "My Mind & Me" is going to feature the life of the singer over the last six years. The movie is directed and produced by Alek Keshishian (Madonna: Truth or Dare) and produced by Apple TV+.

She went on to say that everything she's been through will be there, and she's just making it her friend because she knows this is just the beginning for her. Selena is overheard telling fans to just be themselves and that no one cares what they do. She went on to say that it is always about a person's personality and how at ease they are with themselves.

She went on to say that she is grateful to be alive and that she has made a promise to stop living like this, and she asked how she will learn to breathe normally again. The trailer features footage of the singer speaking in various interviews, confessing, having real and honest moments, and conversing, interspersed with footage of a younger version of herself.

She claims that she has worked her entire life, since she was a child, and that she does not want to be famous, but she does recognise that if she is here, she must use it for good. When asked what she feels most often holds her back, she replied that she is not good enough. Selena added that it was something she experienced a lot as she grew up.

But now she's using her influence to connect with people all over the world, making it clear that she's still here to do whatever she can to help others. The singer went on to say that she is happier and more in control of her emotions and thoughts. The actress is also heard saying in a speech at the end of the emotional video. "I'm more than I've ever been."

Back in 2015, the singer revealed her lupus diagnosis and announced that she would step away from the spotlight to focus on her mental health. She went on to say that, as many of her fans are aware, she revealed a year ago that she has lupus, an illness that can affect people in a variety of ways. She went on to say that she has discovered that panic attacks, anxiety attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can be difficult to deal with.
