Selena Gomez took to her social media to share the first look of her documentary "My Mind & Me," which is soon going to premiere on Apple TV+ and take the audience into the highs and lows of her life since achieving fame. It is no surprise because Selena Gomez is one of those few celebrities who have been vocal about their challenges in life since the very beginning. 

The documentary "My Mind & Me" spans the past six years of Selena Gomez’s life, and in the first look of the documentary, the fans see her on different occasions where she is smiling, laughing, and also bursting into tears. Selena shared the first look with a caption that her mind and her do not get along sometimes and it gets hard to breathe, but she wouldn’t change her life.

After spending years in the spotlight, Selena Gomez goes on to achieve unfathomable popularity, but just as she achieves a new pinnacle, an unforeseen turn pulls her into darkness, according to a press release about "My Mind & Me" that was issued last week. The letter went on to say that the documentary "My Mind & Me," which chronicles her six-year journey in a new light, is incredibly real and personal.

Alek Keshishian, who has previously directed Madonna's Truth or Dare, the music documentary released in 1991, directs' My Mind & Me’. Following the Emmy-nominated documentary Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, Selena Gomez's 'My Mind & Me' is going to be the second joint venture between AppleTV and producers, Lighthouse Management Media, and Interscope films. After the actress shared the post on her social media, a lot of her friends showed their support and love for her, along with fans who commented that they could not wait for the documentary.

Selena Gomez recently turned 30 and shared a beautiful message with her fans, which she learned in her 20s. She said that her 20s were a journey through good, hard, and beautiful moments that she said she would never forget and said all the moments she had spent had shaped her into the person that she is today. Selena Gomez added that although she still has a lot to learn, she is more clear about what is important and what she wants. She is also appreciative of everything, including the blessings and lessons she has received along the journey.

The actor from Only Murders in the Building claimed that being surrounded by so many powerful, empowering individuals has given her the confidence to move forward. She will make every effort to take each day as it comes and let the good and bad shape her into the greatest version of herself she can be for both herself and others. The audience will learn in-depth information about Selena Gomez's mental health in the documentary "My Mind & Me," about which she has always been outspoken and open.

In May, the actress spoke at the Mental Health Youth Action Forum, which was hosted by MTV Entertainment at the White House, and Selena said that just to share a little bit of her experience, she felt that once she realized what she was experiencing mentally, she had more freedom to be okay with that. She also said that she was still learning about it as she went along. At the forum, Selena said that raising awareness of mental health issues in the media or just sharing one's journey with others might be helpful.

The actress-singer explained that if someone comes out and talks about their journey, it sets an example for others and it’s a topic that can and should be discussed freely and without shame. Selena also added that mental health is very personal for her and she hopes to use her platform to share her own story and, working with incredible people, she can help others feel less alone and find the help they need.
