The pandemic vaccine is taking over the world, and a few celebrities are actively opposing the movement. But are they equally supported by their loved ones?

A recent post by Shailene Woodley highlights her own thoughts on the matter of her fiancé, Aaron Rodgers refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine. The football player has been facing quite a lot of backlash since he revealed his unvaccinated status, and fans are coming after him for his irresponsible behavior.

The post in question is now deleted by the Divergent star, but while it lasted, fans had a little something to say for the timing of the post and the quote it featured. Shailene Woodley posted the now-deleted photo to her Instagram account on November 5. The Friday post read, "Calm seas may bring you peace, but storms are where you'll find your power," as reported by Page Six.

The post came right after her fiance, Aaron Rodgers, shared that he 'didn't lie' about being vaccinated after he was tested positive for the CoronaVirus. The news had made headlines earlier this month, and the quarterback ensured his fans that he had told his crewmates about him being unvaccinated.

Talking about his return to the team, he shared, "The league was fully aware of it upon my return to the Packers." He interviewed at "The Pat McAfee Show" where he explained that his return was not based on lies, and the league was totally aware of his unvaccinated status. And yet, his acquiring the virus had made people strongly backlash at him. The athlete also talked about his one-game suspension so that he doesn't interact with other players of the league.

But as football fans of the league took after the player, Rodgers had to come clean and state that he isn't necessarily "some sort of anti-vax, flat-Earther." To further validate his point, he also shared that he had supported his decision of not getting a virus as he went through extensive "over 500 pages of research." He had shared his research with the NFL to back up his claims, and hence, was admitted into the league.

He further added that his reasons also included an allergy to one of the ingredients of the vaccine. Hence, he had to provide thorough evidence as to oppose the vaccination policy, which is otherwise mandated to be followed by all the professionals of the league.

The quarterback shared, "On the CDC’' own website, it says should you have an allergy to any of these ingredients, you should not get one of the mRNA vaccines." He also revealed that his only vaccination option from the four shots provided by the United States was Johnson & Johnson. Unfortunately, he had heard of "some really difficult times and physical abnormalities" that people experienced after getting the jab.

Adding more points to his extensive list of reasons, Rodgers also shared that his wish for fatherhood is one of the reasons due to which he couldn't get the vaccine shot. The athlete who got engaged to Shailene Woodley back in February this year said that he is looking to become a father in the near future, and hence, decided not to get the vaccine.

Rodgers said, "The next great chapter of my life, I believe, is being a father, and it's something that I care about a lot. And to my knowledge, there's been zero long-term studies around sterility or fertility issues around the vaccine, so that was definitely something that I was worried about, and it went through my mind."

Rumors about "The Fault In Our Stars" and the player dating Shailene Woodley had started circling back in July last year, and this year in February, Us Weekly reported that the rumored couple is dating. Their relationship was purely friendship at first but soon evolved to something more. An insider had shared with Us Weekly at the time, "They started off as friends, but things have turned romantic."

However, only days later, another good news popped up as Rodgers shared with his followers that the relationship has already moved further by another notch and shared that they are hitched. So, when Rodgers took to the stage to accept his award at the 2020 NFL football season event, the quarterback shared, "I got engaged and played some of the best football of my career."

Shailene Woodley also revealed more details about her speedy romance with the football player and credited the pandemic for their amazing relationship. In an interview four months after their engagement news went viral, the actress shared, "Starting a relationship where you immediately move in with someone — because it’s a pandemic, and you can’t just get on a plane, and go back, and forth on weekends — taught us a lot about each other very quickly." The 'Last Letter From Your Lover' actress also said, “We jumped in headfirst and got some of the sticky bits out of the way early.”
