Marvel Studios "Shang-Chi the Legend of the Ten Rings" is the first movie from the studios starring an Asian actor. The film has performed record-breaking at the US weekend box office. The Superhero movie made an estimated whopping $90 million in the United States and Canadian cinema halls in just four days which far exceeded the initial forecast and estimation by Boxoffice Pro. Shang-chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings created a new record of second-highest three-day opening after the opening of cinema halls after the pandemic. Based on the reports, the film has also surpassed 2007's Halloween record which earned USD 30.6 million at that time.

It seems like the gamble played by Walt Disney Co. really worked off as this is only the second major movie Disney gambled for to release solely in the cinema halls. The film has a major and important role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's future as it is the first movie from the Studios after the long break of the global lockdown and worldwide pandemic situation releasing Spiderman Far from Home, to be released exclusively in theaters. For such a chaotic and uncertain time, a very bold move though! 

With so much going on all around the world and very few people taking interest in going to public places like cinema halls because of the social distancing thing that has been prevailing since covid arrived, to release the movie in theaters is definitely a game-changer. People have also become habitual of using OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Videos, Netflix etc. It is a difficult task to take them out of their homes to watch something in theaters. The movie fantastically proved to be a great pioneer for this journey of people from homes to theaters, from mobile phones to big screens.

The movie is performing well with the critics as it has a 92% fresh Rotten Tomatoes score and got a very high 98% positive rating from fans. It also received a rating A from Cinema Score. Marvel Studios Shan-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is one of its kind where a Martial-arts master named Shang-Chi is drawn in again by the past he thought was left behind when he is pulled into the network of the bizarre Ten Rings organization.

The Flim is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The amazing star cast of the record-breaking film includes Simu Liu, Askwafina, Meng'er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Kingsley, and Tony Leung. Unlike Marvel Studios Black Widow starring- Scarlett Johansson Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings will be available exclusively in Cinema theaters, nowhere else but later it will be made available on Disney's streaming services too for the viewers and lovers of OTT Platforms to also enjoy in their own kind of environment.
