The 31-year-old Florian Munteanu, who marked his debut in what has turned out to be Hollywood’s most popular and successful franchise, Marvel Cinematic Universe through one of its latest superhero blockbusters Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, says he wants a big showdown between Razor Fist and Wolverine.

Released on 3rd September 2021, as the 25th installment in MCU and a larger part of the universe, which paved the way for the arrival of the first Asian actor Simu Liu in the franchise, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ring mostly centered around a martial artist known by the name of Shang-Chi aka Shaun, who desperately tries his best to uncover the mystery and truth behind a secret organization called Ten-rings, in his journey of finding the hidden secret the martial artist trained by his father has to face all kinds of troubles coming onto his way.

Speaking to Comicbook, during his recent appearance in an interview when asked about his vision for the future of his Marvel character in upcoming Marvel projects, the actor while not giving too much to fans and followers shared that he wants the emotional side of the character to be explored much more which sadly did not find any detail attention in the superhero blockbuster. While addressing some of fans crazy possibilities regarding the future of his character, Munteanu said that he would love to see a big showdown between Wolverine and Razor Fist, describing it as a “beautiful matchup” which the fans would also love to see, even though the possibility seems crazy at this point of time but keeping in mind that Walt Disney has already secured the rights for all the Marvel character’s that were previously held by Fox including Wolverine, it could very well happen as it is the case with Marvel Studios, where everything the studios touches nowadays turns to gold.

"Oh, that's a tough question, bro. First of all, I'm not giving too much away with this is that I feel like I want to show the emotional side of Razor Fist. I feel like there's a lot behind the mask, behind that physique, it's a guy who has a lot of heart and who definitely has a background story that is interesting to tell, so I want to go into depth with that, showing that he's more than just a soldier, even though we see values like loyalty, he sticks to the end with Wenwu, until he realizes that, okay, he has no other choice but joining the other party, so they make it out alive. There are a lot of values there, I feel like family is very important to him and the Ten Rings became his family, so it would be interesting to see how he got there and what was all the story around that, how he lost the arm ... There is so much to tell with this character, as you know, in the comic books, he has two blades and a beautiful matchup, and fans are sending me stuff from the comic books where Razor Fist actually meets Wolverine, which I think would be a cool matchup, blade against blade. That sounds awesome to me, so I feel like there's a lot of potential," Munteanu said to ComicBook.com, explaining that while for obvious reasons he cannot reveal too much about the future arc of his character but he said there’s definitely a different aspect and sides of Razor Fist that can be focused on in future, one of which includes the emotional side of him that connects him to family.

While there is nothing clear as of now as to what part the character is going to play out in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe world, but there is one thing that is certain is that Razor Fist will return to have a bigger role in the future as the fans would recall that the final frame of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ring teased the return of Shand-Chi which includes Razor Fist and other characters.
