In a recent interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine, singer Shawn Mendes opened up about the changes he has been incorporating into his life, including his recent hair transformation, which went from his curly locks to a buzz cut, and the cancellation of his world tour to focus on his mental health.

Speaking about his new hairdo, Shawn Mendes stated that, according to him, everyone should know how they look with a shaved head, adding that he was feeling the urge to shake himself up a little bit, which is why the new look.

Shawn Mendes made headlines when he opted to cancel the remainder of his "Wonder" tour, citing the necessity to concentrate on his mental health as the reason. During the discussion, the singer said that the process was very challenging, noting that a great deal of therapy and attempting to comprehend exactly how he was feeling and exactly what was starting to cause him to have that reaction were involved. Shawn continued by stating that he was undertaking everything he could to help himself and heal adding that he also going to rely on people in his life for assistance.

Shawn said that it's been difficult, but he thinks the last year and a half has been the most gaze, going to grow, and a lovely process of healing of his life and he is appreciative of everyone who was so tolerant and understanding, full of love, kindness, and awareness. Shawn was also asked by Wall Street Journal what's one piece of advice he has succeeded in getting that's guided him.

Shawn Mendes said that understanding that setting limits do not imply being unkind has transformed his life as well as recognizing that it is not an easy task. He said it's a difficult challenge and it causes him to become uneasy. It makes other people unhappy for a moment, but it's finally a very powerful and effective thing to do in any relationship he added that he is setting limits and it isn't cruel; it's essential. It's very considerate.

Shawn Mendes was asked about his recent collaboration with jeweler David Yurman and what advice would he give to other people to which he said that he believe he began wearing jewelry properly when he was 17 years old. Shawn added that he began with a ring, specifically a silver ring and he believes one should start with one piece, such as a necklace, ring, or bracelet, and see how it makes one feel. He advises that one should make a week's commitment to it and should not feel compelled to wear a plethora of rings, necklaces, bracelets, or other accessories. Simply put on what makes one feel good at their own pace, and Shawn suggested that they'll begin to create the visual style, which can be a really enjoyable process.

Shawn Mendes shared earlier with People that David Yurman has always been a brand that embodies quality, truthfulness, and ageless style adding that it seemed like a natural fit. The singer said that he has long been a lover of their jewelry, and he is delighted to have teamed up with them on their latest campaign. Shawn said he finds that David Yurman's jewelry has this supernatural feel to it and that's the reason he has always worn these bits on his neck because it's always been special but also sophisticated sufficiently for him to feel comfortable in my skin. It feels easy, one doesn't have to put on a character to wear this jewelry because they comfortably elevate them.

In addition to canceling his tour, the Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Shawn Mendes has not released any new music. Fortunately for fans, this may change soon. Shawn Mendes said that he reached the point where he is like, 'OK, he is ready to start writing some songs and it's exciting.
