Shriek Looks Deadly In Official Movie Clip Of Venom: Let There Be Carnage

Sony Pictures' upcoming Venom: Let There Be Carnage film's official clip teases fans of what they could expect from a supervillain.

The clip is posted on a YouTube channel by the name Bloody Disgusting. At the beginning of the video clip supervillain, Shriek is seen sitting in a soundproof cell surrounded by a group of men as they bring food for her. Later on, Shriek kills one of the men with her sound-based powers.

With the upcoming movie, Shriek will make her live-action debut. However, the character has been previously seen in various animated series such as Ultimate Spider-Man vs. the Sinister Six.

Recently, Sony also released an official poster featuring the sound-based power supervillain Shriek, in the poster she looks similar to the comic version seen over the years in Marvel Comics.

The poster features Shriek with glowing blue eyes and a scar on the left side of her face. Sony Pictures released her character poster along with other posters featuring Tom Hardy's character Eddie Brock aka Venom, Woody Harrelson's Cletus Kasady aka Carnage, and Michelle William's character Anne Weying.

Recently, director Andy Serkis confirmed the long-rumored possibility of Tom Holland's Spiderman facing the wrath of Tom Hardy's ancient symbiote Venom in a film.

The director teased the future crossover while appearing in an interview to promote his film Venom: Let There Be Carnage. He shared it when he was asked a question about the possibility of an official crossover between Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Tom Hardy's Venom.

He replied, "Everyone wants to know when Venom is going to meet Spider-Man, personally, it's not going to happen," Serkis said. "I'm kidding. It's going to happen, the question is when. We don't want to rush it."

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an upcoming action-packed superhero film based on Marvel Comic Book by the same name. The title for the film was announced in April 2020.

The film is directed by English actor, filmmaker and producer Andy Serkis and produced by American film production and distribution studio Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Studios and Tencent Pictures.

It will be distributed under the name of Sony Pictures and will release just before Spider-Man: No Way Home which is slated to release in theaters on December 17th.

The film stars Tom Hardy as Venom also known as Eddie Brock, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison, Reid Scott as Dan Lewis, Stephen Graham as Mulligan, Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady also known as Carnage. 

The shooting for the film began in November of 2019 before the Coronavirus pandemic at the Leavesden Studios in the United Kingdom.

The filming went on till February 2020, including the shooting held in San Francisco.

Andy Serkis confirmed the film will have just 90-minute runtime being shorter than 2018's Venom, explaining that he wanted the movie to be a "real thrill ride", not "hanging around too much exposition.

The film had a special screening for fans in London on September 14, 2021. Sony Pictures Venom: Let There Be Carnage will release in theaters on 15th October 2021.
