Stranger Things has been one of the most successful series for some time now. Since it first streamed on Netflix in 2016, the series amassed a great audience base and is now one of the top series of all time.

Created by The Duffer Brothers, the show has a throwback vibe from the 80s and mixes sci-fi with supernatural elements for the ultimate thrill. Stranger Things takes strongly after classic works by horror writers like Stephen King and Steven Speilberg. Of course, the series is still charmingly original in its eternity and the characters are uniquely refreshing.

The series has run for a duration of three seasons already and is ready to come out with its fourth and most awaited season. An audience sensation, there is so much that the season promises to bring to your screens.

Here is everything that you need to know about the latest season of Stranger Things.

The trailer

The very first trailer of Stranger Things: Season 4 was first released in February 2020. The small teaser focused on Hopper, played by David Harbour, and gives some insight into the proceedings of the fourth season.

Another teaser for the series was released more than a year later on May 6, 2021. The trailer showed the Rainbow Room and was a brief peek into the beginnings of Eleven and her unusual talents. It was then followed by another little teaser on August 6, 2021, teasing what would come to the series in the following season.

Then there was also the debut of the Creel House on September 25, 2021. The teaser showed the kids from the show deciding to look into the house of horrors and soon learn that it must have been inhabited by a family sometime before.

The full-sized trailer of the series was released on November 6, 2021, and featured the narration from Eleven's part of the storytelling. The young girl is shown to have reached ahead in her life as she tells Mike in a letter that she is getting adjusted to her life in California and that she would visit him during Spring Break.

Yet another trailer was dropped on April 12, 2022.

When will the season come out?

Netflix had decided to screen the series much before this but was hindered by the COVID 19 pandemic. The season had begun its filming back in January 2022 and had only gone through some of its production to face a complete shutdown because of the virus.

Fortunately, the creators had to wait only too long until they could start filming again in October 2022. The original production period was supposed to run for seven months, but the excessively fantastical universe of the show requires a lot of careful post-production editing.

The show's season 4 will be released in two parts. The first one is now scheduled to premiere on May 7, 2022, while the second part will follow along on July 1, 2022. The show's immense success has already pushed Netflix to renew the series for the fifth season, and presently, it is also expected to be the series finale.
