Prince Harry is telling it all.

In his recently released memoir, "Spare," Prince Harry tells his side of the story about the infamous dress-fitting quarrel between his wife Meghan Markle, and sister-in-law Kate Middleton.

Harry starts writing that just four days before the royal wedding back in 2018, Kate Middleton began a passive-aggressive argument with Meghan Markle over a text message explaining that Kate and William's daughter Princess Charlotte, who was set to fulfill as a bridesmaid at the royal wedding, did not like the dress she was expected to wear because it did not fit her properly.

The Duke stated that Kate Middleton texted Meghan Markle that Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, and too baggy for her and that she cried when she tried it on. The dresses, according to Prince, were "French couture" that had been hand-sewed to specific measurements without a fitting, and he suggested that it was not a surprising fact to them that the dress didn't fit Princess Charlotte perfectly.

Meghan Markle did not immediately respond to Kate Middleton, but she did the following morning, notifying her that their tailor had been waiting for them at Kensington Palace and requesting if she might take Charlotte to have her dress altered because many other mothers were doing the same thing. Harry clarified that Meghan reacted to Kate the following day because she was attempting to deal with her father, Thomas Markle,'s, turmoil at the same time, which took up most of her attention and energy.

The extract proceeded that Meghan Markle's reaction was insufficient for Kate Middleton, who insists on having all of the dresses remade. Meghan then inquired Kate Middleton whether she was conscious of what was going on with her father and the entire incident, to which Kate answered back that she was, however, the dresses and the marriage, which was in four days, were very significant to Kate.

Harry asserts that Kate had a minor disagreement with Meghan Markle's upcoming wedding, which included a pageboys' party, and that they went back and forth. According to reports, Kate Middleton agreed to take Charlotte to Meghan Markle's tailor and decided to write, "Fine."

But the conflict was allegedly far too much for Meghan Markle, with Prince Harry returning home to discover his soon-to-be wife "sobbing on the floor," noting that he continued to insist to Meghan that Kate Middleton did not mean harm throughout their discussion and that the Princess of Wales reached the next morning with flowers and a card to apologize profusely for any upset.

The drama, however, was not yet over, with the incident quickly leaking to the press and becoming tabloid news. Initial reports claimed that Markle made Middleton cry over the dress-fitting assertion, which frustrated Harry because it was supposedly inaccurate. He goes on to say that Kate allegedly admitted that she was the person who made Meghan cry. When it came to taking any action to clear the air, Kate had already become "flustered," while William offered "sympathetic evasions. When they realized that no actions would be taken, the Sussexes decided to focus their efforts on establishing who leaked the story to the tabloids.

Harry said that the list of suspects who could have leaked the story was getting smaller, and finally, William leaned back and conceded that he could have timidly just let slip that there had been a rift between the two couple during a dinner with King Charles III and Camilla during the Sussexes' Australia tour.

He also claims that now the "Suits" alum was reprimanded for having to tell Middleton, who'd already recently delivered Prince Louis, that she "should have baby brains because of her hormones" throughout a squabble.  The Duke claims that Kate Middleton was annoyed when Meghan Markle requested that he borrow her lip balm before the foursome's presence at the Royal Foundation Forum in 2018.

Meghan Markle stated in their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey that she was the person who was brought to tears during the tussle and that staffers continued to refuse to correct the record. Speaking of Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle asserted that she might have hoped Kate would have would want that rectified not with sharing details, but added that perhaps the palace wouldn't have allowed her because she is a good person, the same way that they might not have let anybody else.

According to reports, Kate Middleton is disturbed and appalled that Prince Harry will indeed put her in a position to disclose personal details. The palace has notified the media that it will not be commenting on any of the allegations or incidents mentioned in the book.
