If you are a kid at heart, there is no way you can put off watching Disney+ for all the great shows and movies that it offers. While Disney is not just for kids, it definitely serves to provide you with all the nostalgic memories that you had while watching TV in your younger days.

Everyone has been rushing to Disney for the past few months with the Encanto fever running high these days. Then there is also the timeless film Frozen that no one can watch too many times. But, if you are looking for a few new movies to watch or want to explore all that Disney has to offer, here is a quick list of the productions you should not miss!

The Princess Diaries

What else do you think of when you hear Disney if not princesses? The Studios has delivered quality royal content until now, and The Princess Diaries is one of the best until now.

The royal film series stars Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews in the iconic roles of a princess and a Queen mother. The story has a basic Cinderella twist as the character Mia discovers that she is actually the heir to a small European country.

Socially awkward and not very princess-like, Mia is not very keen on the idea of fulfilling her regal duties, yet the bribe of a yearly donation to her animal-saving organization is enough to make her reconsider the offer.

A coming of age movie that made countless teens wish they were secret heirs of nations too, the film is brilliant when it comes to plotline, storytelling, and characters.

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Roald Dahl is a visionary when it comes to his novels, and Fantastic Mr. Fox is a film that proves true to the point. The film follows a smart, eloquent, and fashionable Mr. fox. Fantastic Mr. Fox is made surreal by Wes Anderson's phenomenal direction, giving the film a sheen of brilliance when it comes to the cheeky narrative.

Though the film is great for kids, it has an underlying theme requiring much contemplation and reflection when viewed by adult audiences. Mr. Fox is a clever introspection for all that makes a person believe in their honesty and family values.

So don't be alarmed if you find yourself judging the intensity with which you carry your relationships after you watch the movie.

The Rescue

Disney movies are not always sunshine and rainbows. While the studio is inclined towards creating films and series that make you feel all warm in the heart, it also has the core to bring forward hard-to-witness stories.

One such movie is the retelling of a true event where 12 Thai boys were stuck in a flooded cave. Helmed by the Free Solo directors, Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, the story uses real footage of the rescue mission for the 2018 floods. Brave and bold, the film is a must-watch for everyone out there.

The Parent Trap

Disney is nothing if not a family studio. Always so keen on showing beautiful happy families, the company is well-versed when it comes to starring families as the lead motive in their show.

While most movies will show stubborn and adamant parents fighting all odds for the welfare of their children, The Parent Trap is more of two twins going above and beyond to save their family.

Starring Lindsey Lohan as both the identical twins in the film, the story focuses on the siblings coming up with clever plans to bring their divorced parents back to each other. Needless to say, it's extremely fun to watch and wholesome in so many ways.

The Princess Bride

A royal wedding should definitely be in your to be watched list and what better place to start than The Princess Bride. Featuring the eternal love of Princess Buttercup and Westley, the film stars Rodents of Unusual Size as the scary factor in the story.

The story shows a highborn princess falling in love with a common farm boy. The two have the chance of a happily ever after kind of life only if Westley does not have to search for a job and is not attacked by a pirate. Yet they get to have their happy ending, anyway. Classic Disney!
