In a recent interview with E! News, former Miss Universe and now reality TV star Olivia Culpo shared details about her upcoming show, "The Culpo Sisters."
Olivia Culpo, who is currently dating and is very happy in her relationship with NFL player Christian McCaffrey, talked about her previous relationship on the show and how it made her feel as well. In conversation with E! News, she mentioned that she had not decided on a prior basis to talk about her previous relationship on the show.
Olivia continued that the floodgates opened and it just erupted out, and that she is now proud to talk about it. In the show's trailer, she says she was with a person who did awful things to her, making her believe less than a human being, and now she describes that she hopes her honesty and vulnerability will help others find the confidence to take a step and end the relationship.
The former Miss Universe continued that she is hoping that she can help other people who are in similar situations, adding that one just has to thank terrible experiences like that for making one stronger. They make people better and help them appreciate what they have now and never make the same mistake twice. She never named the person to whom she was referring but said that she had never talked about that before and that it was sort of liberating for her to talk about it.
Olivia stated during the show's promotion that she does not know if people ever truly heal from their traumatic past experiences. Not to be dramatic, but she truly believes that there are still triggers that one might have if they've been through something like that.
The Culpo Sisters is going to star Olivia Culpo along with her sisters Sophia Culpo and Aurora Culpo, and she said that she thinks that they just have to open up and not hold back, adding that it was challenging for them to open up because it is not something that they are used to. Olivia further added that she thinks that there are also levels of responsibilities, like roping in their partners and brothers to do the show tastefully.
Sophia said that her boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, will appear on the show here and there, and she stated that while she does not want to reveal too much, she is pleased that they were able to capture him in the life of the New York Jets wide receiver. She went on to say that she understands how anxious he was for the day, let alone having it filmed, but added that now they will remember those moments forever.
Aurora Culpo after three years of marriage, Survivor star Michael Bortone filed for divorce in April. Aurora said that the audience will witness the start of a divorce. She said a lot was going on when they started filming, and her relationship took a sharp turn, which she documented.
Aurora added that filming everything was challenging, but that is what they decided to sign up for adding that they consented to be sensitive and discuss experiences, so she did her best. Aurora further continued that what viewers are going to see is basically a relationship falling apart and then the difficult origins of attempting to see what life apart would look like. She added that that was extremely difficult to navigate, but he is pleased with how it turned out. The objective would be to show someone else going through something comparable that they are not alone and that they can come out stronger.
In discussing her relationship with Christian McCaffrey, which is currently long-distance, Olivia stated that she feels she has always, to some extent, been in a long-distance relationship because they are exploring different things that take them away. She continued that he travels all the time, and she travels all the time, but she believes that when a person loves and respects someone, they wish for them to achieve their goals and will do what it takes to get them there. That is something we recognize.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Olivia Culpo explained why she broke her "no athletes ever again" rule for her new boyfriend, Christian, and how his family values made him an easy choice for a partner. She went on to say that he is simply the best and that she feels like he is everything she could ever want, which is why she never has to worry about anything. Olivia Culpo went on to say that he comes from a wonderful family with whom he shares many interests. The former Miss Universe stated that she is simply excited for the future, but they do not have an exact timeline, but she is confident that it will be fantastic.
