Peacock is coming forward with another comedy series, Killing It, featuring Jet Miller and Wyat Walter. From the executive producers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the series expands on the American Dream along with familiar relationships and their dynamics.

Craig leads the story of Killing It with Craig Robinson from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Office playing the part of the protagonist. The character enters the Florida Python contest to help make ends meet at home.

His daughter Vanessa, played by Jet Miller, is back at home and is being taken care of by Craig's ex-wife Camille, played by Sephanie Nogueras, who is also managing his household. On the other side, Craig has developed a little animosity with Brock, played by Scott MacArthur from The Righteous Gemstones.

Brock is an aspiring social media influencer who is also trying to reach success and is helped by his son Corby, played by Wyatt Walter

The two new faces in the series recently came to speak with Screen Rant and shared their experiences about the series' American Dream theme. Along with that, they also talked about the dynamics they feature with their reel dads and all the new things they learned about snakes during the shooting of the series.

Killing It is an absolute roller coaster of laughter filled with fun and guffaws. Yet it is not short of some serious family bonding. Jet Miller, who plays Vanessa, talked about her relationship with Craig and explained that her character is a "very honest person."

She has no filters when it comes to speaking the truth but the only thing she really cares about is her parents. Still, she is never shy from speaking out her mind. So, when she knows something, she will not care to sugarcoat it down for the sake of the listener and will say the entire truth.

She has a great bond with both her parents and has been nurtured well by her mother and father. They are both very keen on taking good care of her and in turn, she is the one who managed her father. Although she is a child, she has been parenting her parents and is really smart when it comes to it.

Wyatt also explained his relationship status with his onscreen dad, Broke, with his character Corby. He shared that their relationship has its highs and lows but they are still on good terms. Corby is immensely supportive of his father's dreams and wants him to earn fame just as he wants.

The two are pretty close that when Brock faces any hardship, it affects Corby adversely too. He is very keen on making his father happy and doing things that his father enjoys pleases him as well.

Both the characters have learned to grow with each other and find their strong points throughout the entire series. Hence, by the end of it all, their relationship is stronger than ever and they have an amazing connection.

In turn, the fathers are also eager to do the best for their families and provide the best they can so that they get to live the ultimate American Dream. Craig is really set on doing good for his family, his daughter, and his father.

He is in the hopes of fulfilling his dreams like his father could not and it has become a big deal to him as a person. He is highly motivated and determined and wishes to do something great that would help him prove his worth.

While the quality is admirable, it is not easy to be around Craig since he is always in his drive. It is like the hustle has stolen away Vanessa's dad from her and though she understands and respects his dreams, she would like him to be present for her more often.

On the other hand, Broke is pretty much hooked on feeling good about himself and reaching his aspirations for his own sake. He does have a little of a family streak where he would like to provide for his son, but most of his hard work is directed towards feeding his own pride and thinking the best of himself.

Corby has always understood this and still decided to stand by his father. He is the more understanding and giving when it comes to their relationship. But now as he is seeing Brock deal with everything that he is doing and sees that his father is not happy with it, he wants Brock to quit as it makes no sense to him either.

Nevertheless, the father and the son will walk through it together and smoothen out their differences. Corby will find ways to help his father and together they will reach appreciable distances.

The series also taught the actors a lot about snakes, considering that they are literally in the middle of a Python Competition in the show. The actors shared that the snakes on the sets had their handlers who would take care of them.

In fact, the snakes were treated and handled better in the series than the actors, said Wyatt Walter. The actor shared that he also learned a lot about snake anatomy when working on the series and interacting with the snakes.
