With the 34-year-old actor Kit Harington, bringing life to the comic book superhero Dane Whitman in the Marvel Studios upcoming flicker The Eternals, the Marvel producer Nate Moore talks about Harington’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Black Knight.

"We think he's interesting and a great character and actually Kit Harington, who just wrapped yesterday, was fantastic, but we very much explore the relationship between Dane Whitman and Sersi, which is again something for comic readers," Moore said during a set visit of the film to Toronto Sun.

"[Harington's] not going to be Black Knight necessarily," the producer added, "but that is something that we get to play with down the road."

These comments of Moore on the uncertainty regarding the future of Harington as Black Knight echoes that of the Games of Thrones star Kit Harington’s comments, who previously said, "I've got no idea whether my character goes on or not. I had read up on who he could be or might be. So there's the possibility for a longer trajectory. And hopefully, I think this is the tip of the iceberg for my character. I hope. But I just don't know, you know? I'm as in the dark as anyone else. And I try not to live too far ahead in the future with anything. Even when I was in Game of Thrones, even on the sixth season, I presumed the seventh season wasn't going to happen!" he said.

Although these remarks from the actor Kit Harington himself and the superhero blockbuster film producer Nate Moore suggest that the superhero fans and followers might never get to the superstar suit up as the expert swordsman and wielder of the powerful Ebony Blade, Black Knight, given how perfect the superhero-based franchise MCU is good in keeping its secret, there nothing that the fans can really make out of these uncertain statements.

With Kit Harrington in one of the leading roles of Dane Whitman in Marvel Studios superhero epic directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloe Zhao, The Eternals, he is joined by 55-year-old Mexican beauty Salma Hayek in the role of Ajak, Angelina Jolie in the role of Thena, Brian Tyree Henry in the role of Phastos, Richard Madden in the role of Ikaris, Gemma Chan in the role of Sersi, Lauren Ridloff in the role of Makkari, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, Kumail Nanjiani in the role of Kingo, Barry Keoghan in the role of Druig, and Don Lee in the role of Gilgamesh with additional actors including Harish Patel, Haaz Steiman as Phastos' husband, Ozer Ercan as a smuggler and Zain Al Rafeea in an unknown role. The film is directed by award-winning director Chloe Zhao.

After waiting for more than a year for the much-awaited film as it was earlier slated to be released in last year’s November, the superhero fans and followers can now finally watch the blockbuster film when it makes it's into the theatres in less than a week away from now on 5th November 2021.
