While Marvel Studios The Eternals is just days away from arriving in theatres, to take the fans to an enjoyable and action-packed ride with the ten new superheroes that are going to be introduced in the superhero epic, film producer Nate Moore opens up about the fact if the fans and followers could expect a sequel to the blockbuster.

Moore said that a follow-up to The Eternals “is not something that is a must-have” because everything in the Marvel Cinematic Verse is interconnected and doesn't necessarily need a sequel to continue a film story. "It's not something that is a must-have, we have ideas of where we could go, but there isn't a hard and fast rule where we have to have three of these things and this is the first,” Moore said while speaking recently in a conversation with The Toronto Sun.

He added that Infinity Stones was a key in MCU that really helped in connecting different timelines and universes in the superhero-based franchise. "I think the Infinity Stones fell into our lap and really helped connect things in ways that felt unexpected and earned," Moore explained. "If you just watch Eternals, you can enjoy Eternals, you can understand Eternals and you're good to go."

"We felt like there was enough story that it could be a contained universe," Moore added. "We definitely have ideas of how things can cross over later. But this movie, with 10 characters and Dane Whitman and the Celestials and the Deviants, there was enough for us to play with."

With Moore as the producer, The Eternals really doesn’t disappoint the superhero fans in terms of diversity as it features the most diverse cast seen in an MCU film in its 13 years of long history such as Salma Hayek in the role of Ajak, Angelina Jolie in the role of Thena, Kumail Nanjiani in the role of Kingo, Brian Tyree Henry in the role of Phastos, Richard Madden in the role of Ikaris, Gemma Chan in the role of Sersi, Lauren Ridloff in the role of Makkari, Lia McHugh in the role of Sprite, Kumail Nanjiani in the role of Kingo, Barry Keoghan in the role of Druig, Don Lee in the role of Gilgamesh, Kit Harington in the role of Dane Whitman with additional actors such as Harish Patel, Haaz Steiman as Phastos' husband, Ozer Ercan as a smuggler and Zain Al Rafeea in an unknown role.

The film, based on projections by Per Box Office Pro is domestically expected to earn between a total of $82-102 million in its opening weekend, which is significantly much higher to beat the likes of studios other 2021 released superhero blockbuster Shang-Chi which was able to earn over $75.3 million at the box office in just its first three days of its release in the theatres ($94.6 million for the four-day Labor Day weekend), and Black Widow, which garnered a whopping $80.3 million in its debut.

Marvel Studios The Eternals is slated to arrive in theatres on 5th November 2021.
