Andy Muschietti who serves as the director of the much-awaited superhero film The Flash, days after the official teaser of the 2021 DC FanDome gave a first look at Ezra Miller's Barry Allen, in a newly posted video has teased that something special is waiting for the fans and followers regarding the film on 16th December at the DC FanDome. The video clip in which the director Muschietti is seen teasing the fans was posted on the Instagram handle of the film's producer Barbara Muschietti. Andy Muschietti in the video says, "We have a little surprise for you Saturday, October 16th."

The Flash leading actor Ezra Miller made his debut in DC Films in the role of Barry Allen also known as Flash with Justice League released in 2017, after which he also appeared in David Ayer's Suicide Squad.

Ahead of the film getting its first official trailer Henry Braham, who serves as the cinematographer of the film spoke to Collider teasing the complex storyline of the film. “[The Flash is] going great. I mean, it's a complex movie, and it's a fantastic concept of bringing in the generations of these kind of comic books. Again, it's not really a comic book movie. It's not based in reality, but it’s a much more kind of technically complex — I think all the filmmakers are really keen that the technical complexity of the storytelling doesn't get in the way of just good quality filmmaking. Hopefully, I don't think it'll ever come across as a superhero movie. It will come across as a movie, and that's what it is. I think that's the way these things need to go. We need to be making great, great, great films that happen to have superheroes who have truthful characters behind them, with all the character flaws that we find in humanity," he explained.

While Braham did not go into too much detail about the film, he further went on to say that the cast and the crew of the crew especially Keaton was amazing to work with and that is something he really enjoyed while working on the much-anticipated film.“It's a pleasure working with the cast, as they're fantastic. Michael, of course, is a genius, and it's wonderful to see him recreate that role but in the present day. It’s wonderful. I think the movie has a massive scope, and I'm lucky to be able to work on movies I'd like to go and see. I'm not really interested in comic book movies. I'm interested in movies that take me on a journey, an emotional journey and a visual journey," he added.

With Andy Muschietti in charge of directing the Flash film, it features a sprawling cast of Affleck as Bruce Wayne also known as Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen Livingston, Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Rudy Mancuso, and Luke Brandon Field and is produced under Michael Disco and Barbara Muschietti.

DC's The Flash is currently set to debut in the theatres on November 4, 2022, after a long delay due to Covid-19 Pandemic.
