Kevin o' leary and Kevin Harrington both of them who were seen in the famous tv reality show 'Shark Tank' are being accused and sued for fraud by 20 people.
Entrepreneurs from around the country have filed a lawsuit against O'Leary and Harrington, claiming the two have scammed them by making false promises of financial assistance, business success, and also a chance of being on 'Shark Tank'.
Both of them are being accused of using two companies to lure the Entrepreneur’s, InventureX and Ideazon, promising people help in launching their start-up’s but in place just took their money and sat on it.
Harrington is listed as a high-ranking executive at InventureX whereas O’Leary is accused of promoting both companies, petitioner believes that InventureX and Ideazon might not even be real, instead created solely for “predatory fraud scheme.”
When asked about it, Kevin O’Leary was equally shocked to learn about it and said someone has been using his name without his knowledge, permission, or consent. He also said that he never heard of the two companies in question. he told TMZ. O'Leary wants to get to the bottom of it and make sure the “bad actors” who have violated his rights and tarnished his image are held accountable.
Harrington has still not commented on the whole fiasco and his view on the suit is still not clear.
Shark Tank has changed the life of many young start-ups, creating a lot of new jobs and helping many in living their American dream. Kevin O’Leary has been a constant part of this journey.
We have seen him being one of the most prominent sharks in the show, aggressive with his offers and doing some incredibly profitable deals, and making small businesses into multi-million dollar companies.
Whereas Harrington was seen in the first two seasons of the show.
