The movie becomes very interesting and scary when the wife returns from the dead and seeks revenge. The movie is filled with gory scenes, and some of them have rats too. Hereditary (Amazon Prime Video)

The movie revolves around a family that unexpectedly gets to know about the dark pasts of their family. The movie begins when the family's matriarch dies, and then the story about the family unravels. Regarded as one of the scariest movies in recent times, the Ari Aster directed Hereditary is undoubtedly a one-time watch. The movie gained huge appreciation when it was first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie stars Alex Wolff, Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne and Ann Dowd as its lead characters.

The movie is about a vertical prison, and each floor has just two cells. There are inmates on every level, and food is gradually dropped through each level. The inmates at each level can eat as much food as they want. This arrangement may seem very ordinary, but the disturbing part is that the prisoners at the lower levels can only eat the leftovers from the above levels. With food decreasing every time it descends a level, the movie soon takes a cannibalistic route, and there are tons of scenes filled with gore, blood and extreme violence.

Imagine being stuck in a house with a killer, and there is no way to ask for help. Hush deals with a very similar situation when the deaf and mute protagonist is struck with a killer in her own house. Living alone in her home, our protagonist is a writer working on another one of her novels. Her life takes an unexpected turn when a dreaded killer appears in her house. With nowhere to go and no one to ask for help, the movie takes many unexpected turns. The blood and gore in this movie can easily give nightmares to the bravest viewers also.

The movie cannot be kept in the horror or the slasher genre, but it indeed has some of the goriest scenes in a Bollywood movie. The Anushka Sharma starer movie deals with the severe problem of honour killings in some parts of the country. The movie begins when the urban couple Meera and Arjun set off on a road trip, but the movie takes an unexpected turn when they witness a heinous crime during their journey. The romantic ride soon turns into their deadliest nightmares, and there are tons of scenes filled with blood, gore and violence. The movie stars Darshan Kumar, Neil Bhoopalam and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.
