The Dune star is set to enter the magical world of never-melting ice cream and palaces completely made out of chocolate. The Oscar-nominated actor, Timothee Chalamet, is the latest Willy Wonka to star in Roald Dahl's magical world of Oompa Loompas. Warner Bros. will now be featuring Timothee Chalamet as a young Willy Wonka who steps into the world with a keen eye to find a lasting idea. The confectioner in making travels the world before setting up the famous Willy Wonka chocolate factory.

The film is going to be quite different from its previous versions showing how Willy Wonka came up with his genius inventions. The story will feature an impressive number of musical numbers that will debut Timothee as a singer and a dancer. Timothee has been long since considered for the iconic role of Willy Wonka, but it came with the challenge of readying Timothee to feature in the musical aspects of the film.

The film is going to be a Paul King direction project which he will share with the screenwriters Simon Farnaby and the writers that came before: Simon Rich, Simon Stephenson, Jeff Nathanson, and Steven Levenson. The film will fall under the banner of Heyday Films and is to be created under the production lead by David Heyman. Other producers to hold the helms of the film are Luke Kelly, Michael Sieger, and Alexandra Derbyshire, the executive producer.

The film is going to be the third of its kind in the Willy Wonka franchise as made by Warner Bros. Pictures. The previous films in the mystical world were sourced from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a classic novel by Roald Dahl that has managed to stay fresh and to engage the masses through ages. The first film in the franchise dates back to 1971 when Warner Bros. cast Gene Wilder for the iconic role of the famous confectioner. The second version, released in 2005 and featured Johnny Depp in the role. The films went to explore a little in the life of Willy Wonka, while most of the plot firmly stayed anchored to the novel itself.

The third Willy Wonks film is going to be the first of its kind to not star Charlie Bucket, the little kid who found the Golden ticket in a Willy Wonka chocolate bar. Instead, it is going to be strongly rooted in Willy Wonka himself.

While Timothee has been in consideration for the role for years, he hadn't yet revealed much about his role as a chocolate maker and didn't go on to reveal his look for the character. With Dune being the movie that he prioritized first, his first venture of the big film production took a better part of the teasers and trailers he released. The fantasy film itself has a previous adaption of the film that's considered a classic for its genre. The new Denis Villeneuve film has already premiered and is set to release in theaters soon.

He is also to be seen in The French Dispatch, starring alongside Frances McDormand and Adam McKay's film, Don't Look Up, which will also star Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence.

Now that Dune is in for the big day, Timothee has finally deemed it okay to share one teasing look at his coming character. Last Sunday, the actor posted an Instagram post in full Willy Wonka regalia for the musical movie titled "Wonka." The actor looks dapper as the iconic genius confectioner and wears his signature brown top hat, a purple velvet jacket, and a patterned scarf to finish off the quirky ensemble.

He agreed that a photo of the character was a long time coming and surely understood the suspense that is following his fans. He captioned: "The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last ... 🏭WONKA🍫."

If you are a hardcore Willy Wonka fan, you might have already realized that the line is from the original film.

Chalet's casting as the character was announced back in May this year as he now fills in the shows of two widely famous Willy Wonka actors before him.  The prequel to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, the 1964 film, is the backstory of the mystery man. However, the film is still under production, and the plotline isn't yet revealed.
