The actor known for his androgynous style revealed acting advice, which was given to him by one of his heroes that eventually helped him to navigate his career and stardom so far. Without revealing the name of his hero, Timothée said, “One of my heroes — I can’t say who or he’d kick my a** — he put his arm around me the first night we met and gave me some advice. No hard drugs — and no superhero movies.'”

Timothée has been rumored to be in talks for a major role in the DCEU's Batman Beyond for years. Despite the lack of concrete news, there was a lot of chatter. Since then, his followers have imagined him as the best Terry McGinnis to Michael Keaton's Batman.

The ‘Dune’ actor was also asked about his ‘Call Me By Your Name’, co-star Armie Hammer on facing rape accusations to which he replied, "I totally get why you're asking me that, but it's a question worthy of a larger conversation, and I don't want to give you a partial response."

Armie Hammer was accused of sexual assault and rape earlier this year in March, which he fiercely denied, along with additional allegations of abuse. Several films, including 'The Offer,' thriller drama 'Billion Dollar Spy,' Jennifer Lopez's action-comedy picture 'Shotgun Wedding,' and the Broadway production 'The Minutes,' among others, suffered a knock as a result of the allegations.

Hammer also rechecked himself into a Florida rehabilitation center in June this year to receive treatment for multiple addiction concerns, following months of sexual abuse allegations.

Talking about his role in ‘Dune’ with Deadline, Timothée said, “I got attached [to the role in Dune] a couple of months after that, and it was nerve-wracking from the announcement, because like I said before, the fans of the book, and the fans of David Lynch version, the computer game, and everything, there’s so much love and strength of feeling. I was grateful to be working on something of this size not only with Denis Villeneuve leading it, who between Polytechnique, Incendies and Prisoners had nailed the smaller indie film across languages, and then had nailed Arrival and Blade Runner, but who, in his own words, he didn’t feel he’d made his greatest film yet. But also, to be working with this cast.
