The fates of T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach are decided.

According to reports, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's fate at ABC has been decided following a mediation session on Thursday, and they will be leaving for GMA3: What You Need to Know. The couple was under official investigation after their cheating scandal made headlines and ended up causing internal strife for the past two months. The anchors were married to their respective spouses at the time.

According to an ABC spokesperson, after many constructive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes regarding various possibilities, they have indeed agreed that it would be best for everybody that they move forward from ABC News. The spokesperson stated that they acknowledge their skillset and dedication over the years and are appreciative of their contributions, and that a choice on new GMA3 and 20/20 co-hosts will be made later.

ABC News President Kim Godwin sent an all-staff email moments before the statement went public, calling T.J Holmes and Amy Robach's high-profile romance a distraction for everyone. Kim wrote in her memo that she would like to inform everyone that they've decided on T.J. and Amy adding that she knows this has been a distraction for many of them, but let's not forget all of the great work that continues to make ABC News the number one news network in America, thanks to them. Kim finally mentioned that she would like to thank everyone once more for their patience and professionalism during this difficult time.

According to a source, nobody wanted how the relationship status of T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach was disclosed in public to be the headline and due to this, their careers would suffer but some of the disparaging information just continued to surface during the investigation, which lasted several weeks, and most individuals within the company expected this to be the result. They also asserted that T.J. Holmes will be compensated, asserting that ties have been disconnected and his issues have made the headlines, but Amy Robach is no saint. The sources said that there are no negotiations about their future as ABC has completed its investigation and reached the conclusion that they will be leaving ABC. . 

According to another source, Amy Robach has consistently been professional and has chosen to take her work and job sincerely. According to one report, Amy Robach had alcohol in her office and drank on the job adding that although it is frequent to have drinks while on task or be gifted items that are more adult from various entities. However, the notion that she had been drinking on the job and arriving at the job drunk or high is absurd. If that were the situation, her behavior would have been apparent years ago. They say that it's shocking to read all the accusations made against Amy when all she's really at fault for is starting to fall for her colleague.

ABC News President Kim Godwin allegedly told an editorial meeting that the affair was an internal and external distraction to the duo. Furthermore, the news director told staff that the "relationship is not a serious breach of company policy," but encouraged them to concentrate on their jobs instead of gossiping about the circumstance. The anchors were taken off-air on 5th December 2022 and Kim said that it's her sincere hope that the company will continue to focus its energy on what they do best and she wants everyone to know how proud she is of their hard work and professionalism.

The narrative took a dramatic turn as it was revealed that T.J. Holmes has had relationships with at least two or three women at ABC News, including producer Natasha Singh. Weeks later, the news anchor was also accused of sexual relations with a 24-year-old junior staffer in his ABC office, with sources describing him as a "sexual predator."

A source at ABC shared that that being said it's business as usual for everyone at ABC adding that everything has been restored to normal as much as it potentially can at this time, yet there is still an uneasy feeling in the air. Everyone just wanted this investigation to be finished so that everyone involved in the production might move on. The insider went on to say that although it is unlikely they will come back to the ability they were all in as time passes, there are currently accessible channels of communication, as well as further conversations, are being held about what will happen.

The couple had reportedly split up months before their affair was disclosed, and it was later revealed that Amy Robach was in the process of divorcing Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue. Meanwhile, T.J. Holmes filed for separation from Marilee Fiebig, his wife of 12 years with whom he has a child, in December. Another source claimed that Amy Robach had done nothing wrong and that any inquiry into her is unrelated to the allegations against Holmes. They added that while she maintains her relationship with T.J., she is very centered on her career and children adding that  T.J.'s allegations are not related to her.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have not yet commented on the situation.
