Apple TV has dropped the first trailer of the upcoming movie named 'Finch' starring Tom Hanks in the lead. The movie formerly titled 'Bois' shows Hanks as the only survivor of the Global Apocalypse who is searching for a new home to reside along with his dog and the robot.

The movie is directed by Miguel Sapochnik who is known for his direction in a few episodes of "Game Of Thrones" and other movies like the Repo Men (2010), The Long Night (2019), Altered Carbon (2018) and others. The English director shares Argentine origin and has also served as the former storyboard artist. His works have earned him quite a reputation and many prestigious awards like the Primetime Emmy Award, etc.

Craig Luck and Ivor Powell serve as the writers of the film. The movie was supposed to make a big release in October 2020 in the US theatres under the tag of Universal Pictures but then a delay happened and the film was taken over by Apple in August.

The producing team consists of Robert Zemeckis (director of Hank's former solo survival story namely the 2000's Cast Away), Frank Smith and Naia Cucukov

The movie's cast consists of Tom Hanks in the lead and features as the Finch, alongside Caleb Laundry Jones will be seen in the role of Finch's android Jeff. The plot of the movie seems super interesting and unique. The movie will reveal how Finch survives the apocalypse, his bond with human's best friend, Dog of course and how he creates a robot and goes on with his life as the lone survivor.

Finch creates a robot depicting that he is skilled in robotic engineering and survives for long in the underground bunker because of the cataclysmic solar event which turns a healthy world into a barren one. The unique trio are seen to make a road journey to the American West but sees many obstacles in between with a classic mix of cuteness and humor.

The movie embraces pretty difficult situations but the light-hearted comedy by the robot, Finch and the dog's trio make it worth a watch.

The new and the final official release date of the film is November 5, 2021 and shall be premiered in theatres in the US.
