Venom: Let There Be Carnage's leading actor Tom Hardy in a recent interview revealed some details as to what the fans could expect from the superhero franchise in the future.

Hardy explained, "These things [usually] come in threes, If there's going to be a new one - and they depend heavily on the success of each individual one, so you can't count on them ever happening again - every one has got to be as if it was the last one. But I think it's really important, if you go into something, thinking that one, two and three are the same... the same story, the same film. So that you don't surprise yourself by being caught out by suddenly having to do a third from nowhere. There's got to be some continuity into a third and fourth and fifth, and if somebody says 'no', that's fine. Let it go, and you move on to something else."

Prior to Hardy's comments on the future of the franchise, Andy Serkis, who is in charge of directing the blockbuster film, also revealed similar details about the franchise's future.

Serkis said, "A hundred percent, I mean, I think there's so much potential in the Venomverse for really interesting journeys before the kind of the inevitable happens... I think Kelly and Tom have been thinking about what is the next stage of the journey anyway. They would have thought of... They would have had some plans for where they could possibly go after this... You've got to. When you're going into a franchise, you've got to think about the arc, of course. You can't think about them just individually."

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is turning out to be a grand success for the media and entertainment giant Sony Pictures as it recently passed $100 million at the box office this past weekend. It has become one of the fastest to pass the $100 million at the box office after the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Directed by Andy Serkis and developed under Sony Pictures, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, earned a total of a whopping $11.6 million on its opening at the box office, which was an overperformance as the critics and fans never expected it to perform so well.

Previously, English actor Tom Hardy also explained of what the fans could expect out of the character of Eddie Brock in the film. Hardy explained the details during a promotional event of the movie.

He said, "I like to see Eddie Brock as a professional coward. Sort of a vain, lazy, narcissistic everyman in many ways... I think he's a noble soul, but I just think he's come to a certain path when Venom appears. And it's horrendous."

Hardy added, “You have this primal beast who says we should do absolutely anything we want because we can. And it doesn't matter about consequences because it's insignificant, which is like the greatest therapy you could ever have, except, you know, it means running around biting people's heads off and ripping buildings apart."

Featuring Michelle Williams in the role of Anne Weying, Naomie Harris In the role of Frances Barrison, Stephen Graham in the role of Mulligan, Tom Hardy in the role of Venom also known as Eddie Brock, Reid Scott in the role of Dan Lewis, and films main villain Woody Harrelson in the role of Cletus Kasady also known as Carnage, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is produced under Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Studios and Tencent Pictures.
