What If…? running on the Disney platform contains episodes of Superhero zombies. Currently, the series is quite relaxed, with slaying off important personalities. It was already glimpsed in earlier episodes that the whole killing thing is reasonable in the game of diversified world events.

However, the latest episode will showcase the destiny of Bucky and Steve's friendship.

During the killing time, we witness their trademark dialogue that surpasses the cruel ending.

The last hours in the episode, amid the two friends, were more nasty than good.

Bucky had to combat his dearest pal, who got converted into a brainless creature similar to other Avengers. Although he defeated his Zombie friend, it was not a happy time for him.

Almost all of the actual Avenger characters are transformed into brainless creatures. This concludes that surviving superhumans are tracked constantly in Manhattan and on railway tracks by the Zombies. Steve, who had already changed into the creature, successfully turned Sharon Carter into Zombie.

Bucky arrived a little late, so he was not able to protect Sharon. But as he reached on board, he started battling Steve. It was quite a small battle, but Steve was fighting as he was not dead at this time.

Following that, Bucky instantly stabbed him with Captain America's shield and threw him from the running train. He then delivered the words, "Sorry, pal. I guess this is the end of the line". These words are sourced from the famous dialogue of the movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier,"

These lines mean that Bucky will leave behind the wrong that he has done while being hypnotized. Their friendship bond will always remain strong as it has survived years of suffering and calamity. This shows Bucky was shattered after brutally murdering his friend in unusual circumstances.
