Hilary Duff opens up about her Vanity Fair photoshoot from 2003.

Actress Hilary Duff recently got candid about her time on the Vanity Fair shoot from 2003, which included Amanda Bynes, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Mandy Moore, Alexis Bledel, Raven Symone, Evan Rachel Wood, and Lindsay Lohan.

While appearing for a recent lie detector test for Vanity Fair’s YouTube series, Hilary Duff shared that the cover shoot was flooded with teens as all the actresses were raising teenage stars at the time. The actress also shared that although the shoot was very cool, it was a stressful and anxiety-inducing day for her. She also added that Mandy Moore and she are now good friends, so that’s funny.

The How I Met Your Father actress did not elaborate on how they all ended up on the cover shoot, but Evan Rachel Wood had shared about the photoshoot on her social media in 2014 and has since deleted tweets about it. Evan wrote that she was almost in tears after the shoot because the people who were responsible for the outfit had put her in a dress she was not comfortable in, but they had no solution to it as everyone took "too much time" with their fittings.

Evan also added that she wanted to wear flats but was given heels for the shoot as she thought it looked better on her. The actress shared that she was 15 at the time and felt like her identity was being erased and there was immense pressure and the environment just kind of said to her to shut up and do as she was told.

Hilary Duff also talked about going on a group date with her husband Matthew Koma, ex-Joel Madden and his wife Nicole Richie, and Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Meagan Camper. She mentioned that it is not important to her to be close with her exes, but her situation with Joel Madden is very situational and she liked her friendship with him.

In another interview, Hilary Duff revealed that working with Suraj Sharma on How I Met Your Father, she has been fascinated with Indian culture and would love to visit the country. Working with Suraj, she explained, has opened her eyes to Indian culture, and she believes that they have open wide hearts and a lot of acceptance. Hilary Duff mentioned that people in India want to have a good time, and then there’s always good food and celebrations.

Earlier this week, the actress spoke to The Cut where she was asked about the highly anticipated question about the Lizzie McGuire reboot, and Hilary Duff shared that she, along with the channel, is trying to bring the show back in the most honest way they can. The actress admitted that it’s not dead, but it’s not alive either and added that there is always a possibility of bringing the show back even if Lizzie is in her 40s.

Hilary Duff mentioned that she knows that people don’t care at what age Lizzie comes back; as long as she does, people will have something interesting to watch. The announcement of the Lizzie McGuire reboot being pushed back was met with a lot of buzz from the fans who were excited to see the cast reprise their roles. They had already shot two episodes and started a petition to save the reboot, which by the way, has 10,000 signatures already.

The actress previously stated that it took her a long time to reconnect with Lizzie, and when she did, the project was put on hold, but not completely, as they could return at any time if things with the channel went well. Honest representation and authenticity of the character matter to everyone working on the project, so everyone is kind of holding onto the hope that they will return.

Till then, you can watch Hilary Duff in "How I Met Your Father" on Hulu.
