According to the Batavia Police Department, The Bachelorette alum Clint Arlis was found dead in a private residence on January 11th, 2022, and now the department has ruled out the cause of his death.

34-year-old Clint Arlis’ death was under investigation as the cause of his death was not ruled out immediately, but they mentioned at the time that there was no foul play suspected. According to the reports by Page Six, who obtained the investigation report through a Freedom of Information Act request, Clint Arlis left a note on his dresser before he hanged himself.

The press release by the police department stated that Batavia Police Department and the Kane County Coroner's Office carried out the investigation. Clint Arlis’ physicians and toxicological results suggested that his cause of death was asphyxiation by hanging and that the manner was to be determined as suicide.

The reports suggested that the star intended to visit a local high school for a workout on the day of his death. More information stated that Clint had been struggling with paranoia and believed that people had been watching him, plus he had a lot of issues with his girlfriend. According to sources, Clint’s parents believed that their son was getting better and decided to not publicly talk about his challenges after he moved in with them.

A family friend, Scott Bayer, broke the news of the Bachelorette alum’s passing away when he wrote that one of the Batavia Wrestling Program’s all-time greats, 2005 graduate Clint Arlis, has passed away. Clint was also the beloved son of Coach Tom Arlis and wife Jamie, the brother of Taylor, and the boyhood idol and best friend of his younger brother, Coach Logan Arlis.

Clint Arlis’ sister, Taylor, took to her Facebook to confirm the news of her brother's passing away and mentioned that the family would like to have some privacy during such a difficult time.
