Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have settled their divorce.

According to the reports, the singer Kelly Clarkson and ex-husband Brandon Blackstock have reached a point where they want to settle their divorce proceedings nearly after two years of filing.

According to the details of the settlement that are known from the reports of The Blast, the singer is going to pay Brandon Blackstock about $1.3 million as a one-time payment and monthly child support of $45,601 for the kids. The couple will be sharing joint custody of their kids, River and Remington, although they will live at Kelly Clarkson’s Los Angeles house and visit Brandon once a month.

It has also been known that both kids will soon get vaccinated against COVID-19 as they will be traveling to meet Brandon Blackstock, who, for the time being, is living at the couple’s Montana ranch, which is out of the state, and according to the laws, they have to get vaccinated before they travel. Kelly Clarkson is going to shell out reimbursement of $50,000 for their kids’ private travel until they are fully vaccinated.

The details of the divorce reveal that Kelly Clarkson is going to get both of their Montana properties, family pets, multiple cars as well as stated in the settlement and Brandon Blackstock will be paying $12,500 every month to the singer until June. As for the one-time payment of $1.3 million to Brandon, Kelly is also supposed to pay $115,000 to her former husband as a part of spousal support until 31st January 2024.

In the divorce settlement, Brandon Blackstock is going to get the couple’s farm cattle, livestock, stock dogs and horses, cars, ATVs, and several CAT snowmobiles. Brandon is also going to get the golf simulator and a couple of Patek Philippe watches.

The singer filed for a divorce back in June 2020, after being married to Brandon Blackstock for seven years. In July, Kelly Clarkson filed a request in court to be declared as single legally as she believed that she and Brandon deserve to be happy and an opportunity to build a new life. In August, the court accepted Kelly’s request and declared her single but asked her to pay Brandon Blackstock about $200,000 a month in spousal and child support, and she was more than okay with paying the amount.

The sources claimed that Kelly Clarkson is doing great and is happy to spend time with the kids. Kelly Clarkson is represented by Laura Wasser who is one of the high-profile divorce attorneys who has dealt with a lot of entertainment industry clients. The couple that started dating in 2012 got married the following year, and according to sources close to them, their relationship wasn’t just romantic but also included a business arrangement as Brandon Blackstock served as Kelly Clarkson’s manager.

It has also been reported that if Brandon Blackstock decides to move from Montana to another state, the court will reevaluate the custody arrangement for the kids. Laura Wasser can go back to the court and request an adjustment if Brandon moves and the expenses change.

Kelly Clarkson is now known as Kelly Brianne, as Brianne is her middle name, and she legally dropped her last name, Clarkson, because sources claim that she is not a fan of her father either. She recently paid a tribute to country singer Dolly Parton at the 57th Academy of the Country Music Awards.
