According to sources, Kourtney Kardashian is in a happy place as fiancé Travis Barker and ex-boyfriend and father of her children, Scott Disick, have developed a cordial relationship after a rocky start as the two men were spotted at Scott and Kourtney’s youngest son Reign’s baseball game.
The sources claim that Kourtney is really glad that Scott and Travis are getting along, even if it is for the sake of the kids. It was previously reported that after Travis and Kourtney announced their engagement, Scott Disick didn’t take the news with open arms because somewhere inside, he thought that he and Kourtney would end up together eventually.
The Kar-Jenner family had been very supportive towards Scott Disick and kept checking on him because they knew that the announcement was a lot to take in for the Talentless founder. Scott Disick initially kept himself away from the family as much as he could to avoid running into Travis Barker.
According to reports, Kourtney Kardashian, who is happily engaged to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, had always wanted her fiancé and the father of his children to get along because that would make their lives easy and that is the sensible thing to do. Kourtney has always tried to get away from the drama, and now when Scott and Travis are finally being cordial with each other, she is very happy.
According to sources close to the family, Scott Disick and Travis Barker have not only hung out together at Reign's baseball game, but also a couple of family functions, and given the history of the Kardashians and Jenners, there will be more family functions and dinners where they two will have to cross each other's path. But some sources stated that Scott despises Travis Barker and cannot stand his presence, but he keeps his feelings to himself because of the kids. Scott Disick still loves Kourtney Kardashian very much but he has tried to keep his feelings low and get along with the family and Travis Barker because he wants what is best for Kourtney and the kids.
Some reports suggested at the time of the Kravis' engagement, Scott Disick had initially thought that the relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker was a sort of fling, but after the engagement announcement and looking at how much the both of them are involved in each other’s lives, he understood that Travis is not going anywhere and he had always wanted to see Kourtney happy, and right now, Travis Barker makes her happy. It was previously reported that after the announcement, Scott Disick felt like an outsider in the family and needed some time away from the family to process the engagement.
Another source revealed that Kourtney, along with the entire family, is proud of Scott Disick, who has tried to work on his feelings and move past the fact that Kourtney is going to get married to someone who is not him. The family has appreciated the fact that Scott Disick is ready to open up and at least try to develop a relationship with Travis Barker. Although sources admitted that it’s going to take Scott Disick a long time to accept that Kourtney is going to get married to Travis and not him.
Talking about the marriage, Kourtney Kardashian is looking forward to a small and intimate wedding without too much paparazzi and is looking at the weekends in May. Nothing has been confirmed as of now but there have been some talks about having a small wedding.
Kourtney Kardashian, along with her family, is all set for their upcoming show on Hulu, "The Kardashians," in which the audience will not only get to witness Kravis’ dreamy proposal but also their journey to having a baby via IVF. Scott Disick is going to be a part of the show as he is family and he has been spending more time with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. Scott understands that he will never be able to find someone like Kourtney and has been leaning onto Kim for support and the two have been talking about the situation and maybe the show is going to give the audience a broader picture of how things actually unfolded.
