Jared Leto is explaining his method/process of acting.

Actor Jared Leto, who recently appeared in "House of Gucci," has opened up about his craft and the dedication he puts into his roles. The actor admits that his techniques are similar to those of famous method actors, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc., but he does not like to call himself a method actor but likes to describe his process as immersive work.

Jared Leto transformed himself to play the character of Paolo Gucci and shared that he likes to put himself through grueling situations because he feels like it’s an opportunity to learn as an actor and a human being. Actress Anne Hathaway, who will be appearing alongside Jared Leto in their new Apple TV+ series "We Crashed," shared that she only met the real Jared Leto after they completed filming.

Anne Hathaway said that she respects Jared Leto’s process and had a wonderful time working with him, adding that they did build a beautiful connection. She further added that he was intense in his commitment process and added that it was like a Horcrux as she almost felt like she was working with Jared, Paolo Gucci, and Adam Neumann.

In his latest experiment, Jared Leto challenged himself to walk with a cane and learn to limp like Marvel’s character Michael Morbius in an upcoming film titled, 'Morbius'. Jared Leto said that he does not want to go into too many specifications because he’d like to keep some of them for himself, but he did lean into learning how to limp. The actor shared that he worked with people who had this specific physical challenge and then molded it according to him.

Adria Arjona, who is going to play a scientist, Martine Bancroft did mention that Jared Leto’s acting is scary good and people should better look out for the movie. Director Daniel Espinosa also commented that the actor commits to his roles and people better watch out for him. We have heard that for actors who take their roles too seriously or put in everything for the role, that preparation kind of takes a toll on their actual performance, but for Jared Leto, after the process of leaving a character is difficult.

Jared Leto explains that for him, the characters he plays are like living, breathing people, and he understands that they are not, but he gets attached to them, like in his previous role as Paolo Gucci. Jared shared that Paolo’s accent kept slipping in while he was playing Adam Neumann and added that it was very bizarre.

Jared Leto was asked if he would reprise his role as the Joker, and the actor said "never say never." He reprised the role as Joke in Zack Snyder’s Justice League and shared that it was a secret and he had to keep it for so long. The actor mentioned that Zack Synder knows the DC world like no one else and he cares so deeply about the characters, along with fans too. Jared mentioned that he was happy to be a part of the journey and was retelling that story the way Zack Synder dreamed of.

In his interview with Variety, Jared explained that if it wasn’t for Marvel, the theatres would have probably existed and added that it doesn’t seem like there is room for everyone and that’s starting to become a little heartbreaking. Although he went on to appreciate acclaimed movies, including West Side Story, In the Heights, and The Last Duel and mentioned that movies like these are the ones that are keeping cinema alive but fall flat in theatres.

Jared Leto, who starred alongside Lady Gaga, in House of Gucci, was shocked just like the entire world when Gaga was not nominated for her portrayal as Patrizia Reggiani at the Academy Awards, despite earning nominations at precursor awards. He went on to say that he was shocked but appreciated Gaga and said that she should be invited to every Oscar just to have her there because she is an amazing artist who does brave work.
