Sophie Turner opens up about not accepting Kendall Jenner’s invitation to an after-party.

While appearing on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote her upcoming show, "Staircase," Sophie Turner shared with Jimmy Fallon that she turned down Kendall Jenner’s invitation to an after-party.

Sophie explained that she met Kendall Jenner at the Met Gala 2022 and she loves the Kardashians and added that Kendall is so gorgeous in real life and she was struck by her beauty. She invited her to a low-key after-party and asked Sophie if she wanted to come, to which Sophie replied with a no and added that she didn’t.

The Game of Thrones actor said that Kendall Jenner did not look thrilled with her response to declining the invitation and Sophie said that she thought about it and asked herself why she does this to herself before adding that she sat in bed, ate pasta, and thought that she could be somewhere else.

The actress, who is excited about her new upcoming show, said that she is not very good at meeting other celebrities and described herself as really bad around them and shared that she cannot quite fathom that she is invited to these things and she is not a competition winner. Sophie explained that whenever she meets some celebrity, she acts up or ends up saying something stupid, and recently it has been like if some celebrity interacts with her, she shuts them down like she does not have anything to do with them.

Talking about celebrities, Joe Jonas is a celebrity and Sophie mentioned that it was different with him as she knew from the first night that he was someone special who was going to stay. She explained that the two of them went out, hung out at a bar with all of their friends, and they all came back to her apartment, and she admitted that when Joe Jonas left the apartment, Sophie wept a little.

The actress said that she told her brother while crying that she loved him, and that’s when she knew. The couple, who are gearing up to celebrate their third wedding anniversary, are expecting their second child together and, according to sources, are very thrilled and excited for the baby to arrive. The actress recently opened up about her struggles with eating disorders, as she mentioned in an interview with Elle UK that they had a live-in therapist who helped her throughout.

During her interview, she mentioned that for a long time she was sick with an eating disorder and her live-in therapist helped her to get through it and made sure that she was not doing anything unhealthy with her eating habits. She further explained that she was playing one comment in her mind over and over again that she had read on Instagram, which said that she was fat and undesirable and spinning out. Her live-in therapist said to her that no one cares; you might think that people do, but no one else is thinking about it and added that you’re not that important. This Sophie explains is the best advice she got.

In an interview in 2019, Sophie Turner shared that while she was on Game of Thrones, her metabolism suddenly decided to fall to the depths of the ocean and she started to get spotty and gain weight, and all of this was happening with her on camera. She also spoke about how people criticized her online by pointing out that Sansa gained weight, that Sansa needs to lose weight, etc. In her interview with Elle UK, she mentioned that she has a love-hate relationship with social media and she wishes she had never gotten herself involved with it in the first place.

Sophie shared that after her therapist’s advice, she limited her time on social media and decided to delete the Instagram application from her phone. She added that she discovered that social media makes her anxious and that’s why she’d like to distance herself from it. The actress added that her life is much better now, more fun and she said that she has managed to get tools and help for her anxiety and depression and she keeps a check on them.

Sophie Turner credits her husband, Joe Jonas, for his immense love and support and states that they are very protective of the life they have built and very happy. She said that Joe Jonas helped her to move on from her life post-Game of Thrones and helped her to fall in love with herself. She also stated that she wishes to return to England for her mental health and to provide her daughter Willa with the same education and environment that she received as a child, but that Joe Jonas may require some convincing. The family currently lives in Miami!

First three episodes of 'Staircase' are streaming now on HBO MAX.
