Peaky Blinders have been considered one of the best series to be ever made right from the premiere of its first season. The series has now reached its sixth season for the UK audience, and the rest of the world can not wait to catch up with the thrilling tale of Tommy Shelby.

The series creator, Steven Knight, is very excited for the global audience to enjoy the series and is currently working on his upcoming film.

The character has reached his peak crescendo of season 6, revealed Steven Knit. The historical drama series' ending is a little too much for many fans to understand, especially how it would tie-up with what will come next for the character.

Based back in the time in 1919, the Peaky Blinders was a gangster group that came to power after the end of the First World War. Run by the Shelby family, the gang saw a huge increase in their prosperity and status, becoming so much more than a band of misfits and common thieves. Now, the Shelbys run as the elite class of British society.

The gang is kept in check and in increasing ranks with the mastermind brilliance of Tommy Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy. Strict and relentless, he guided the group right through their misadventures with the likes of the Italian Mafia, the Irish Republican Army, Fascists, Communists, and more that worked against them.

The international release of the series season 6 is scheduled for June this year, with the UK audience being ahead in the know. But if you are one of the eager fans who can not help but know what's happening with the show's ending, keep reading to know the spoilers.

Season 6 sees its timeline running in the year 1933. The German Nazis had gained transactions until then, and the US had pulled back its prohibition laws as a result of repeal. The globe has barely come out of the effects of World War I but is already driving fast towards the events leading to the onset of the Second World War.

The series does justice to portray the tension in the world as people try to understand what another war could mean for them. Sadly, the 6th season of the show does not feature the exceptional performance of Helen McCory

The actress had portrayed the part of Aunt Polly, the matriarch in the Shelby family and ranks. She passed away last year in April due to cancer.

Knight recently talked about the series' future with Deadline after it premiered in the UK on BBC. Talking about the ending of the series, the creator revealed that Tommy got to a point where he could be considered redeemed.

While many fans worried that the series would end with the death of the lead, there is a chance that the character would grow into so much more than earlier. The final season showed Tommy seated on a white horse, famously contrary to the opening scene of the series in season 1. The character was then shown seated on a black horse.

The major color change possibly implies that the character has reached redemption. However, to keep things interesting, the series creator did add that the answer to the question is held in the feature film that will be based on Peaky Blinders.

The creator was pretty vague when asked if Tommy is a good man now. While the creator did reveal that his intentions were to show Tommy as a changed man, he is not sure what kind of person he would be in the film. There is no saying if he will not return to his ways during the Second World War. The answers are worth the wait, at least.

The real reason for the character becoming the person that he was during the series can be credited to the horrors of World War I. Almost everyone was extremely changed by the events during the war, and it was easy for Tommy to be the worst he could be.

Yet, as things slowly turned better over time, he came out of that violent demeanor he picked up during the war. But with things again gaining momentum towards another war, it is not certain if Tommy will continue in his good state.

Yet, the creator ended the series on a peaceful note, showing that Tommy could do better. It would be amazing to see the events unfold in the film, and witness how everyone on the series makes a change in its story.

Peaky Blinders has already achieved a 100% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, a rarely achievable honor for TV series. The show also managed the absence of McCory from the storyline with considerable ease and thought, filling in the gaps just right for the audience to not feel weird about it.

The film is also in the works and Knight has been working since to do great with what could be a phenomenal story in the film. It's still great to know that the character of Tommy Shelby did not die in the series as predicted earlier.
