According to multiple reports, Mary Cosby of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is probably not returning back on the show for season three.

Mary Cosby took to her Twitter to deny the reports of her departure as she wrote, "This story is not true!! This is a complete fabrication. A complete lie! I have not spoke [sic] to anyone!!” But, there are multiple reports that have surfaced on the internet that state that the reality TV star has not filmed anything for the upcoming season of the show after she skipped the reunion taping.

On not being present at the reunion taping, Mary Cosby explained during one of the Twitter spaces, "The only thing I have to say about the reunion is I didn't go because it was one-sided. Everyone heard one side of what they felt. I mean, they told lies, one side of my story.” It was also reported that Andy Cohen who is a producer of the show was very disappointed that Mary Cosby chose not to attend the reunion tape but he shared that he had an idea that she would skip.

Andy Cohen mentioned while hosting Sirius XM’s Radio Andy, "I spoke to her on New Year's Eve, a few hours before I went on the air [for CNN], we had a long talk. It's her story to tell, but I got the sense that she was not finding gratitude in being on the show anymore." He further argued that Housewives who skip the reunion tapings allow the others to control their narrative as their last gesture. He added, "I'd much rather hear from her. And the truth of the matter is she was a huge part of the success of this show."

Now, the sources have confirmed that she is not going to be part of the third season and they shared, “Mary will not be back. She did not enjoy her time on the show or form any strong bonds with the ladies. She knew her fate on the show by not attending the reunion.” Mary Cosby’s exit from the show’s rumors has been swirling around for a while as she was seen clashing with the majority of the cast in season two along with making some insensitive racial remarks at some of the other housewives.

Mary Cosby went ahead and compared her co-star Jen Shah to a Mexican Thug, an accused fraudster, and used slang like ‘slanted eyes’ for Asian American castmate Jennie Nguyen. Jennie Nguyen was recently fired from the show as well after her posts from September 2020 surfaced on the internet and were labeled as insensitive and racial.

Bravo said in their statement, "Bravo has ceased filming with Jennie Nguyen and she will no longer be a cast member of 'The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’. We recognize we failed to take appropriate action once her offensive social media posts were brought to our attention." The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City's Instagram also posted a video asking the fans that who would replace the two housewives now?

Jennie Nguyen has apologized for her posts and said, "I just want you to understand my point of view and where I come from, and what's going on during that time. I mean it's an old post on my account, it's in 2020. I just want you to understand, during that time I had a team of people that were helping me. Whether they post it, I post it, it doesn't really matter at this point. For me, it's on my account, and I take full responsibility and accountability for what was posted. I know I hurt a lot of people. I know my viewpoint during that time in 2020 was emotional. And it brings back a lot of memories during that time when we went through such a tragic, terrible year. And I just want to let you know that I am taking full responsibility and accountability for the things that were posted on my account, whether it was me or somebody else. It's on my account and I'm big enough to understand that those posts are very sensitive and inappropriate, to the point where it is disgusting. But I want you to understand that my political stance, I still support that. I am very proud to be a Republican. I am proud to be able to say I have the freedom of speech to choose and to have an opinion. I respect your opinion, I respect your political stance. We are different. But we need to respect each other and we need to understand that we live in this country, where we have the freedom to speak our mind, as well as we have a freedom to choose. I don't tolerate violence. But I do support my law enforcement. I know with every profession, there's good and there's bad. I don't support the bad, I don't support the brutality of Black people or with any race. But I do support my law enforcement. But that doesn't make me racist. To support my political stance, that does not make me a racist. And I want you to understand that. And whether I remember the posts in 2020, I don't remember whether it's on my account or not. We don't remember what we ate yesterday, let alone two years ago. But like, again, I take full responsibility.”
