Khloe Kardashian reveals her epiphany regarding Tristan Thompson.
During a special episode of ABC News with Robin Roberts, Khloe Kardashian opened up about her relationship with Tristan Thompson and his equation with their daughter, True Thompson.
The Good American founder shared that she still thinks that Tristan Thompson is a great man and a great father to their daughter, but he is not the one for her. She recalled that when Tristan Thompson cheated on her right before she was about to give birth to their daughter, she was still able to have him in the delivery room. (Speaks volume to be honest)
Khloe shared that with Tristan, she felt extremely safe and good with him initially, but the situation changed suddenly. She went on to say that she understands that it may not have appeared right to the outside world, but she cares more about her daughter and the home videos she will watch when she grows up, which will include Tristan and her, so those videos will be pure and perfect.
At that point, Robin Roberts goes ahead to ask Khloe about what she and her sisters look for in a partner, to which she replies that at the end of the day, everyone aspires to be blissful and wants to have partners who can make them feel safe and happy. She recalled how the cheating scandal back in 2018 was featured during an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and how Khloe said that all she cared about at the time was the birth of her daughter and was not going to let anyone, not even Tristan to mess things up for True and give her anything less than what she deserved.
Khloe added that she chose to be strong and mature for her daughter and not pay heed to whatever the media was reporting at the time because, for her, her daughter mattered the most. After all, she waited for this day for so many years. When she thinks back on that day, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum says she doesn't know how she got through it all, but it amazes her that something like that could have happened to her. Khloe says that she is very proud of herself for handling things very maturely and she credits her daughter for helping her get peace and strength.
Khloe had mentioned in her Variety cover shoot interview that Tristan Thompson is going to appear on the new show on Hulu because he is a part of Khloe’s life as he is the father of her child and also because she wants to give the audience an insight into how she managed to get through it all. Although the reality TV star added that she does not want to talk about the whole Tristan situation and people might already be over it, she will because it is a part of her life and she wishes to be authentic and honest with the fans who are going to watch the show.
A source shared at the time that after it was declared by Tristan himself that he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols while being with Khloe Kardashian at the time, Khloe had decided that she was done with Tristan as a partner but was going to focus on being a healthy co-parent for their daughter. Khloe isn't interested in giving him another chance, and while Tristan has stated that he wants to be better for her, she knows he can't. Sources have added that Tristan is a dutiful father to True Thompson and right now all that Khloe Kardashian wants from him is to be a good father to their daughter.
An insider recently shared that Khloe is happy being single/dating for now and focusing all of her time and mind on her work and raising True in the best way possible. Her family has been a great support to her throughout the rollercoaster journey, but at the end of the day, it’s True who brings Khloe the peace she needs. Khloe is dating and feeling good about herself and her happiness, and feeling good about herself is all that matters to her.
Khloe Kardashian during the special episode also opened up about the nose job that she confessed during the finale episode of Keeping Up with Kardashians which was hosted by Andy Cohen. She said to Robin Roberts that she has wanted to have a nose job surgery forever but because the nose is in the center of the face, she was scared by this time she gathered some courage and went for it and she loves it.
The Good American founder concluded family would love to have some privacy even though they know that it's not what they signed up for but if some privacy is given to them, it won't harm anyone. She last shared that what she goes through on social media is not what she goes through in her real life.
'The Kardashians', is all set to premiere on April 14 on Hulu and the entire family is excited to be back but this time on a streaming platform.
