The world was taken by surprise when the news of the stampede tragedy at Travis Scott's Astroworld concert had broken out. The singer has been struggling to come to grips with the accident for a while now and has rarely come out in public.

Just recently, Travis Scott once again spoke about the tragedy that struck four months ago during his concert at Astroworld, leading to the death of 10 people in its wake.

The rapper, aged 30, shared on Tuesday that he has launched Project HEAL. It is a "multi-tier" project that aims at serving the community through "long-term series" of philanthropy work and will work on "investment efforts" by the rapper. The project will enable him to give back to the people in need.

In his Instagram post shared earlier this week, the rapper explained what he aims to do with his project. He shared that in the past months, he took time out to mourn and grieve the victims of the concert tragedy.

In retrospect, he reflected on himself and how he could make the best out of the situation and work to "heal" his community. He added that he really wanted to use his fame and platform as a means to look beyond the tragedy and take actions that can bring about change in the world.

His Instagram caption read, "Over the past few months I've been taking the time and space to grieve, reflect and do my part to heal my community. Most importantly, I want to use my resources and platform moving forward towards actionable change."

He admitted that the process for healing himself and his community will continue to be a "lifelong journey" that he and his family will embark on. The rapper has recently made a new addition to his family with Kylie Jenner as they welcomed home their second child together, Wolf Webster, aged 1 month. They also share a daughter, Stormi.

Travis Scott also admitted that being a famous figure and given his platform, he feels like a leader responsible for his community. Hence, when there is a need, he will be required to take a step ahead and help the people who are connected with him.

Therefore, the project has come together to aid in taking forward meaningful steps that can help in bringing about "real solutions." The project also aims at making events, possibly concerts and festivals, more safe locations for the masses to attend.

The kind-hearted singer wore his heart on his sleeve as he admitted that he will be forever thinking of the victims of the Astroworld tragedy and that they will "remain in my heart forever."

Additionally, he also stated in his Instagram caption that the project is aiming to create more opportunities for the youth. He exclaimed that he has tried to give back to the youth and will continue to do so in the future till he enjoys the fame that comes with his platform.

In the end, he said, "This program will be a catalyst to real change and I can't wait to introduce the rest of the technology and ideas we've been working on."

Project HEAL already has its official website where you can check the ongoing projects managed by the philanthropist community. One of the projects undertaken by HEAL is a $1 million scholarship initiative for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The scholarship is named after the rapper's grandfather Waymon Webster. The Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund has pledged to provide $10,000 scholarships to brilliant senior students with a 3.5 GPA or higher if they are not able to pay for their education owing to financial issues.

Travis also shared in a media statement given to E! News that his grandfather worked as an educator at Prairie View A&M University. The Houston Native shared that his grandfather has been a major influence on him and many others who have dared to dream big.

Mr. Webster invested in the hopes of others and helped them reach higher to make brighter futures. Hence, taking after the educator, Travis has embarked on this journey where he will help students graduate despite money problems.

Other projects under HEAL will include an expansion of the CACT.US Youth Design Center in Houston, a project that is still under consideration. The initiative includes programs that focus on leading conversations regarding mental health and bettering it.

The Project HEAL by Travis Scott has been launched after four months of the Astroworld Tragedy which was stated as a "mass casualty incident" owing to the deaths of 10 concertgoers. The tragedy has come to pass as the concert attendees had surged en masse towards the stage on which Travis Scott was performing.
