In the wake of the #MeToo movement, several women found the courage to speak up against their sexual abusers, and it was horrifying to see that there is so much evil going on behind the glitz and glam that people usually associate with Hollywood. This year, once again, the dark web of Hollywood's sex crimes was exposed, as Chris Noth has been alleged of sexual abuse and rape by three different women.

While the disgraced actor has denied all of the allegations, his co-stars have come forward to state that they stand by the victims and demand that strict justice be carried out in the wake of the grave allegations. His three co-stars from And Just Like That, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davin, spoke out about the situation and acknowledged the misdeeds leveled against their co-star Chris Noth.

In a joint statement shared by the three actresses, the ladies had stated, "We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth." The Monday post continued, "We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do, and we commend them for it."

The allegations had first surfaced when two alleged victims shared their horrifying experiences at the hands of Chris Noth with The Hollywood Reporter. They shared similar accounts of being overpowered by the actor and raped. The first account was shared by a woman under the alias of Zoe. She stated that about 15 years ago, in 2004, she had met Chris Noth in a posh firm in Los Angeles that was connected to celebs like Noth himself. The two headed to Chris's Los Angeles apartment, where the actor raped the lady.

The other woman, who went by Lily, shared that Noth had invited her to his New York City apartment just six years ago in 2015. The two had first met in a New York City club, where the lady served, and the two then proceeded to have dinner and drinks. However, the trip to Noth's apartment turned out to be a terrible experience for the young lady, who was 25 at the time.

While Noth did not deny meeting with both ladies in the setting they described, he denied ever having committed the crimes and said that the experience had been 'consensual' for both the parties. "The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false," said the actor. "These stories could've been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. It's difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don't know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women."

Just as Chris Noth was losing promotion deals and brand campaigns, another victim came forward with another crime allegation against the actor. The third woman talked with Daily Beast and went with the name Ava for the sake of the retelling. She stated that she was 18 when the incident took place and had been working in a New York City restaurant. The crime had taken place in 2010.

Chris Noth came forward to deny this latest allegation, too. His rep shared, "The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout reading like a piece of bad fiction. As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line."

While the court will soon be proceeding over the allegations and find the truth to the alleged events, Chris Noth has already lost his acting role in the episode of The Equalizer by Universal Television and CBS. However, he will appear in one episode that has already been filmed, along with all the previous episodes that are available for streaming.

Regardless of Chris denying the allegations, brands are not the only ones distancing themselves from the actor. The actor's talent agency, A3 Artists Agency, has also dropped ties with the celebrity. It is momentarily an action of tremendous consequence, and such mass distancing of ways had yet not been implemented in the past when the victims were left off to fend for themselves.

Hollywood has a history of sweeping the gravest of accusations under the rug, and the offenders have usually been let out too easily just with a compensation fee, which they have no trouble paying, considering their celebrity status. On the other hand, people who actually undergo their terrible experiences were stigmatized and shunned from great works.

But now that the industry is standing with its victims, appreciating their strength to relive and retell the tales of horror they had to go through, there is a hope that the American film industry will finally purge itself of this evil. The strictest of actions against the offenders easily mean that no other people would gather the deprived courage of assaulting anyone.
