The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah is opening up about her legal troubles in the latest episode of the reality show’s second season finale.

Bravo’s successful show The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah addressed the topic of her legal troubles, which include wire fraud and money laundering, during the finale episode of the three-part reunion special with Andy Cohen.

Last year, Jen Shah and her assistant, Stuart Smith, were arrested under charges of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. The reports stated that the duo has allegedly victimized ten or more people over the age of 55.

Jen Shah told Andy Cohen that she is innocent and she is going to fight till the end, especially for the ones who can’t fight for themselves because they don’t have the resources to fight for their innocence.

In the episode, Jen Shah appeared with her husband, Sharrieff Shah, where they discussed the day she was arrested and her husband went onto detail some of the personal health issues she was struggling with and how he reached out to her with the help of his assistant. Host Andy Cohen mentioned that there was speculation that Sharrieff made that call to tip Jen off as the authorities were on their way.

Jen Shah went ahead to deny the claims and said that if she had been "tipped" by him, she wouldn’t have waited around. Sharrieff also explained to  Andy Cohen that whatever Jen owns right now are the things that she has earned over her 20-year career and did not appear suddenly yesterday. The husband was asked if he ever doubted Jen Shah after the arrest, to which he replied that he stood by his wife and assured her that things were going to be hard, but they would get through it.

During the episode, Jen Shah expressed her distress over other cast members, especially Whitney Rose, who has speculated about the reality TV star’s business practices. To which Andy reminded Jen that she is being charged with fraud and money laundering, and Jen quickly added that one is innocent until proven guilty.

Jen also stated in the reunion episode that she has not had any contact with Stuart Smith since they were arrested and therefore can not comment on his decision to enter a guilty plea. Stuart Smith changed his plea from not guilty to guilty in November, putting the reality TV star under the spotlight once again, but she made her stance clear that she was not guilty.

Talking about other castmates, Heather Gay stated that she loves Jen Shah and did not care if she was guilty or not. She also added that she wants the best for her and her family and she is going to be there for her friend at the court every day for her. Lisa Barlow also said that Jen Shah told her that she was not guilty and she chose to believe her. Meredith Marks mentioned that she wants what’s best for Jen Shah but is not going to comment on whether she is guilty or innocent as she is not the judge or the jury.

If found guilty, Jen Shah could face up to 50 years in prison and her trial which was suppose to start on March 22 has been pushed to July 11. Her assistant, Stuart Smith, who changed his plea from not guilty to guilty back in November, has accepted three charges against him; wire fraud, money laundering, and obstructing an official proceeding. Jen Shah shared that going through such a devastating time has made her realize that she is a strong person and she can get through it.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star said that she would return for season three later this year on Bravo.
