Britney Spears is calling out people for their betrayal!

Singer Britney Spears shared in a video post (now deleted) on her social media in which she was happily dancing to Dusty Springfield’s Son of a Preacher Man in her gorgeous dress. She told her fans that she had received her calling from Jesus last night about the ones who had betrayed her in the past two decades.

Britney shared that Jesus told her that her mother Lynne was busy promoting her 2008 memoir titled, "Through the Strom: A Real Story of Fame and Family" during a time when her daughter Britney Spears needed her the most. Britney Spears added that Lynne for the sake of fame and attention did not give her daughter the attention and care she needed. Lynne's memoir included the dark times of Britney Spears' life including her meltdowns, the scrutiny she faced and Jamie Lynn Spears' teenage pregnancy.

Britney Spears, now a free woman, has been using her voice to speak about the things that have hurt her in the past, but she was not allowed to talk about them publicly, which also includes her ex, Justin Timberlake, who released his first album titled "Justified" in 2002 and a track titled "Cry Me A River" in which the singer used a look-alike of Spears. The duo dated from 1999 to 2002 and was known to be one of the most iconic couples in the industry. Britney, in her post without taking Justin Timberlake’s name, added that your ex did the same thing as her mother; he released his first album using her name and claimed that she did him dirty.

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears broke up after rumors of the pop star cheating on Justin started to circulate. Justin Timberlake’s career took off, and his music and songs were promoted with a narrative that Britney Spears broke his heart. According to sources revealed in 2018, after Britney Spears saw the video, she was deeply hurt and found the video very painful to watch as she felt it was unfair to her as the song made her look like a villain in Justin Timberlake’s life. In an interview with The Rolling Stones in 2018, Britney Spears said that the video looked like a desperate attempt to diss her but a great way to sell the record.

Back in February, Justin Timberlake stated a public apology after 19 years to Britney Spears after publicly blaming the singer for their breakup and using it to promote his music. He went ahead to apologize to Janet Jackson for tearing off her costume at the Super Bowl in 2004, which exposed her breasts to the world. Janet Jackson was traumatized by the situation. Justin Timberlake in his statement specifically mentioned that he is apologetic to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson for failing them, but he respects and cares for them deeply.

The apology continued as he said that the industry is flawed and it sets up a white man for success because it is designed that way, and as a privileged man, he needs to be vocal about it and acknowledge his mistake. He went on to say that the apology won't make up for the pain and hurt his actions caused, but it is a step forward in a changing world. The singer desired to accept responsibility for his actions and to be a part of a world that encourages and supports others.

The Toxic singer has never shied away from calling out her sister Jamie Lynn Spears for not being there for her when she needed her the most and is now using her to sell her memoir. Britney Spears mentioned that Jamie’s memoir mentions Britney’s name almost 300 times. Britney Spears added in her post that Jesus lastly mentioned that her blood (Jamie Lynn Spears) did the same thing as her mother and her ex, especially during the hardest time of her life when she released a book. She later changed the caption to simply the three red emojis.

Britney Spears recently shared that she has been watching HBO MAX’s "Euphoria" and that it has been helping her with her anxiety and is like a meditation for her. Earlier, she had mentioned that getting her nails done after a long time helped her with controlling her anxiety and changing perspectives in life. After the termination of her thirteen-year-long conservatorship, Britney Spears has been healing and recovering slowly as she takes her time to dwell in the normal world as a free woman.
