Johnny Depp is dating again.

According to various reports, actor Johnny Depp has been dating lawyer Joelle Rich, who represented him in his U.K. libel trial against the publication The Sun.

Sources have shared that it’s true that the two of them are dating, but it’s not serious as of now. Joelle Rich represented Johnny Depp in his case against the publication The Sun in November 2020, which he lost. The actor had filed a lawsuit against the publication after it called him a "wife-beater" in a piece that appeared in 2018. However, the court validated the publication's claims as being "basically factual," and his ex-wife Amber Heard gave testimony to support the claims. His effort to overturn the judgment was rejected in March 2021.

After the court rejected Johnny Depp's request for an appeal in the case in March 2021, Joelle Rich told Deadline at the time that she questioned the U.K. judge's judgment. She also said that her client was looking forward to presenting the full, unfalsifiable truth in the U.S. libel case against Amber Heard, where she will be required to make full disclosure.

On the Schillings Law Company website, Joelle Rich is described as a partner. Her bio highlights her over ten years of expertise and lists the cases she has handled, noting that she frequently represents her clients in times of need. According to Joelle's bio, she also helps to safeguard people's reputations against unfounded and defamatory claims in print, online, and on social media. She also says that she has specific experience defending people's privacy from unwelcome intrusion and media attention.

Additionally, the attorney had defended Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in their 2018 legal battle with the Mail on Sunday, in which they finally prevailed thanks to Schillings. Other well-known clients of the Schillings include Ryan Giggs and J.K. Rowling. As part of the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards in 2021, the attorney also won an honor for "Future Leader Initiative of the Year."

Joelle is currently in the process of divorcing her husband, Jonathan Rich, after a decade of their marriage. They have two kids. Reports have stated that the lawyer had already separated from her husband when she met Johnny Depp. Joelle Rich was not a part of Johnny Depp’s legal team during his defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard that was held at Fairfax County Court, Virginia, but she did appear in court twice and was on hand to offer support during the six-week trial.

US Magazine was the first one to report the news, and the sources added that she had no professional obligation to appear at the Fairfax County Court, but she was there, and it was personal. They added that the duo has kept their romance very private. After the verdict was announced and she was questioned about the linkups during interviews, Camille Vasquez blasted the sexist rumors about her relationship with Johnny Depp. Camille Vasquez was one of the attorneys representing Johnny Depp during the six-week trial in Virginia.

Camille Vasquez said that it’s unethical for something like that to be said, adding that it’s unfortunate and disappointing, but at the same time, it kind of comes with the territory, and concluded that she was not at all surprised by the headlines that came along with it. She went on to say that she truly cares about her clients and that they had grown close, but added that she meant the entire team, which of course included Johnny when she said she. Camille added that she is tactile, Cuban, and Colombian. You want her to say what, exactly? She embraces everyone. And she's not embarrassed by it.

In a decision made in Johnny Depp's favor  was announced in June where the jury mandated that the actress had defamed her ex-husband and was asked to pay $10.35 million in damages. After the jury determined that one of Johnny Depp's attorney Adam Waldman had made one defamatory statement about Amber Heard, they also decided to pay her $2 million in compensatory damages. They both have appealed the verdict.

Some sources report that Amber Heard is not paying much attention to Johnny Depp or his personal life and is focusing on just moving on with her life and taking care of her baby.

Neither Johnny Depp nor Joelle Rich has commented on their alleged romance.
