Greyson Chance is calling out Ellen DeGeneres.

Greyson Chance, who got his start as a musician on The Ellen Show when he was a teenager during a profile for the Rolling Stones, mentioned that after Ellen DeGeneres abandoned him, it was hard for him to sustain his fame.

Greyson explained that after Ellen DeGeneres found his video online, she reached out to Greyson’s mother and invited him on her show, and Chance said that they couldn’t believe that it was happening, but at the same time, they were very unsure about what they were getting into, and the person that helped cure all of the skepticism and chaotic energy was Ellen.

The performer recalled that the talk show presenter promised his mother that she would never again have to work in her life and that she would look out for Greyson. In 2010, Greyson appeared on Ellen's show and sang Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," for which she gave him a new piano and $10,000. She co-founded eleven eleven, a record company that was distributed by Interscope Geffen A&M Records, and hired him as her first performer after being moved by his extraordinary skill.

Greyson revealed how Lady Gaga and Madonna's former managers, Troy Carter and Guy Oseary, high-profile management were brought in by Ellen for him. The musician said Ellen DeGeneres was always just a phone call or a dinner date away, and as his touring commitments increased after his first EP was released and he began to play in Canada, Paris, London, and all over the United States, he explained that Ellen DeGeneres gradually invested more in his career and gradually became domineering and way too controlling.

The 25-year-old artist said that as his career developed, so did Ellen's participation; Greyson Chance added that she was almost like a secret watchdog over his career and that his entire week, month, or even year might alter with a text from her, which he described as horrific. The young singer described an incident where the talk show host had demanded that he and his staff completely recreate a performance that was planned for a different network after seeing a video of it. She did not like what she saw.

Greyson Chance mentioned in the interview that Ellen DeGeneres had obtained an advance copy of Justin Bieber's Never Say Never and had asked him to watch it. The singer replied that he was too tired from touring and would watch it later, but Ellen did not accept that response and instead called his mother and yelled at her, according to the singer.

In the interview, Chance's mother claimed that Ellen DeGeneres was upset that Greyson didn't see the documentary because she wanted him to draw inspiration from Justin Bieber and that people had forgotten how old he was at the time. His mother claimed she couldn't recall anything she said, but she was berating him. Lisa Chance, Greyson Chance's mother, also revealed that Ellen DeGeneres would occasionally look through the singer's wardrobe and be a little fussy about his attire, such as when she would not permit him to wear leather because of her dedication to veganism at the time. Lisa said she simply came in, looked around, yelled, and tried to belittle everyone.

They also felt that Ellen DeGeneres was manipulative and opportunistic and that working with her was a wake-up call to not always follow the money. The former employee, who worked on The Ellen Show during Chance's rise and was fired after a year, adds that their experience working on the show was literally hell. Greyson Chance also revealed that Ellen DeGeneres had abandoned him when his music began to struggle and his concert attendance was declining. Later, after the failure of his second album, the talk show host fully stopped supporting him, and Interscope dropped him. His agent, publicist, and management staff, among other important members of his team, all vanished. Chance claims that he tried phoning Ellen DeGeneres but received no response.

The influence of Ellen DeGeneres on Chance's career is seen more complexly by Chance's mother. She claimed that Ellen is a businesswoman in her opinion. And because it's business for her, if something isn't trending the way she wants it to, she'll stop it. According to Lisa, it's not all roses and she doesn't believe she would have accepted somebody into her life or taken someone under her wing the way she did if she didn't want to see something positive come of it. She began to shut down or exclude us when things didn't move quickly enough for her.

Emily Luther, a music teacher from Rhode Island, also admitted to Rolling Stone that the show host likes to be in charge and refuses to listen to suggestions from those who may have a little more experience. She desires to take home the spotlight. The portrayal was as followed she will assist an individual at every stage of the process. And it will be incredible. And for her, being from a poor family, she betrayed their confidence when they put their faith in her.

Greyson Chance stopped making music in 2015 after the release of his EP Somewhere Over My Head and enrolled at the University of Tulsa, where he majored in history. Chance claims that giving up music to attend college was his method of giving the music industry the "middle finger." Greyson Chance said that it was him going that he could have had an amazing artist on their hands, but he said fuck this, he was not going to do it anymore, and said that he decided to quit music. Chance claims that his instinct propelled him to start creating and releasing songs once more. He was able to enjoy music again as a fan and feel less enmeshed in it as a college student. The singer said that he only realized that it was not on them anymore through that retirement process but it was on him, his life and career, and what he wanted to do with it.

Ellen DeGeneres expressed her admiration for Chance for coming out as LGBT during the conversation in 2019, something he had done just two years earlier. The singer said during she played no part in that and he hadn't spoken to her in a long time before he came out. He told Rolling Stone, that it was so screwed up, that she was now portraying the world as if they were so tight, so excellent whereas, in the background, she was this scheming individual.

Greyson Chance informed the magazine that following that 2019 interview, he promised never to appear on the show again. Greyson Chance claimed to down tiny bottles of Tito's vodka after most performances. He has since gone on to perform at more than 100 shows and is now a budding sensation. Palladium, his newest album, was just released.

Greyson Chance claims that Lady Gaga has always kept her door open to him over the years. Every time she looks at him, she says that he is a fucking man now. This is crazy. She has supported the singer in ways that Ellen has never done.
