The first look of Live with Kelly and Ryan, "After Oscars Show", was dropped recently, which is going to premiere post the ceremony of the Academy Awards 2022, and Kelly Ripa steals the first look with her uncanny transformation of Lady Gaga’s Patrizia Reggiani character from "House of Gucci".
Kelly Ripa shows up on screen and is heard saying a dialogue from the movie in an Italian accent just like Lady Gaga did. Kelly also says the iconic line from another scene from the movie, which even Lady Gaga improvised. It goes, "Father, son, and House of Gucci."
Kelly Ripa’s co-host Ryan Seacrest also showcased his new transformed look like the friendly superhero Spider-Man during their show’s Oscar tribute this year. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland played Spider-Man/Peter Parker, and the movie received a great response from the audience. Spider-Man: No Way Home is only nominated under the category of Best Visual Effects and this decision was criticized by a lot of people.
The audience and a couple of critics are also not very happy with the fact that Lady Gaga did not receive an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Patrizia Reggiani in House of Gucci, but it has been reported that she will be at the awards ceremony as a presenter. Lady Gaga spoke to E! News last month during her presence at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and mentioned that she had a lot of fun studying Patrizia Reggiani.
Gaga said that she studied her life and her story and realized that she was not born a murderer or killer, but she became one, and Gaga became fascinated with her story and wanted to learn about how things unfolded for her. Lady Gaga went into deep research about Patrizia Reggiani as she wanted to know about her relationship with her mother, her childhood, and how she was with men as she got older.

Although a lot of people thought that Lady Gaga was going to be the front runner for the Academy Award this year as lead actress, her snub at the academy came as a shock to a lot of people. The House of Gucci has earned just one nomination at the Oscars for makeup and hairstyling highlighting the works of talented, Göran Lundström, AnnaCarin Lock, and Frederic Aspiras. Lady Gaga took to her social media to congratulate the makeup and hairstyling team of House of Gucci along with all the nominees and stated that they all deserve the recognization.
Lady Gaga was previously nominated under the category of Best Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal in 'A Star Is Born' and Best Original Song for "Til It Happens To You" which she sang from a documentary titled 'The Hunting Ground' and Shallow from 'A Star is Born' and won the award for "Shallow."
The Academy Awards are set to take place on March 27th, 2020 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood and will be broadcast live on ABC. The ceremony will be hosted by the trio of women, Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schumer, which marks the first time a trio has ever hosted the show. The post-Oscar live with Kelly and Ryan is all set to premiere on the following day, which is March 28th, 2022.
