The Grammys ended up being a pretty lovely event with no mishaps involving actors and comedians. The music performances were just spectacular and the winners very deserving of their accolades.

However, the awards ceremony missed one epic performance, which was to be delivered by Miley Cyrus. The singer was looking forward to her Grammy appearance, along with her fans, but an unexpected turn of events meant she couldn't attend the show.

The phenomenal Hannah Montanna actress had to stay out of the Grammys this year, as she was surprisingly tested positive for the still receding pandemic. The singer shared the sad news with her fans. However, she still imbued a positive light in her tweet, saying that it was worth it.

She revealed in an April 1 tweet that she had been traveling around the world and holding concerts with 100,000 people in attendance. Of course, her career as a performer demanded that she socialize with fans, and unfortunately, the experience led her to acquire COVID. Yet, she maintains that testing positive was worth the experience she had with her fans.

She later shared another tweet, this one even sadder than the first, accounting that she will not be able to perform at the Grammys event this year. Stating that she will pull out of the performer's list that she was to attend for Steven Tyler, she expressed her sadness at missing the charity event which will support Janie's Fund.

Steven Tyler's Grammy Awards Viewing Party helps support the non-profit charity event. Expressing her sadness about not being able to make it to Steven Tyler's charity, she said that it will "suck" and that the event was very important to her. She also apologized to Steven Tyler, promising that they would hold a performance some other time.

Apart from her sad news, the singer reassured her fans, letting them know that she was doing well. She also urged them to not worry about her and that she was doing well despite having the virus.

The charity event by Steven Tyler is a celebration party, the proceedings of which will be forwarded to Janie's Fund. The charity event is set on the behalf of girls who have suffered from abuse, neglect, and trauma.

The event shares Jim Carrey, Caitlyn Jenner, Paula Abdul, and John Stamos as the chairmen and women of the organization.

Though it was COVID that took down Miley's Grammys performance, she was already hindered by another natural calamity earlier last month. The Wrecking Ball singer had to cancel her show in Paraguay last month because her plane was struck by lightning mid-film. Hence, she could not reach the city for her performance.

The lady was heading to become the headline maker artist at the 2022 Asuncionico music festival. But unfortunately, she was in the middle of flying to her destination when her plane got caught in the center of a violent storm.

Her plane was struck by lightning, damaging one of the engines of the vehicle and forcing the airliner to commit an emergency landing. It is worth a mention, that all planes are built to withstand lightning attacks and are protected against the electric shock that such an event can cause to the passengers and the airplane itself.

The singer had to share the news through her Instagram channel and was then also heartbroken for not being able to make it to her fans on time. She was sad that she had to cancel the show but also relieved her fans by telling them that she is doing well despite the terrible lighting strike on her plane, which also housed her team at the moment.

In her Instagram post, she addressed her fans and everyone else, who was worrying about her safety and wellbeing, given the horrific news of what happened to her flight on its way to Asuncion. n her March 23 post, she revealed that her plane was caught in a surprisingly large storm and struck by a lightning attack.

Luckily, all the passengers in the flight, including Miley's team, her friends and family, and the band, are in safe places she said, and were saved due to the emergency landing. She also shared the unfortunate news of not being able to make it to her expecting fans in Paraguay but let them know that she loves them.

Yet, the singer did well on her promise to give Paraguay a performance. Once she was safe and sound after the emergency landing of her plane, she made a video of her performing a spectacular rendition of her song "Stay." She dedicated the video to her fans in Paraguay.

She expressed that she wanted to stay with her fans and perform for them in the city but could not. She asked them to stay safe and added another "I love you" note for them in her post.
