Casey Hammer was not surprised.

During a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Armie Hammer’s aunt, Casey Hammer, shared that when she heard about the multiple women accusing her nephew of rape and violent assault, it did not shock or surprise her.

Because of the manner of life in his family, the abuse the actor had observed, and the conduct he acquired, the actor, according to his accuser and aunt, was destined to become a monster. She claimed that as soon as the allegations were public, she thought, "Here we go again, another Hammer family member has turned to the evil side."

During the interview, Casey Hammer remarked that the media's attention on Armie Hammer's cannibalism had surprised her. Then, the culture and the attention began to shift toward what would happen to his career. What about the victims and those who have been permanently traumatized as a result, she continued? Why was that the topic of the media? She chose to join the House of Hammer for this reason.

Casey Hammer said that as shocking as what Armie Hammer was doing at the time was, it was nothing new because it’s a generational pattern that has been played for a long time and no one noticed. She mentioned that all her life she was told that she was a mistake like she was supposed to be a boy and her name would have a boy’s spelling regardless. She in her self-published memoir titled 'Surviving My Birthright' in 2015 accused her father of sexually abusing her as a child—as well as harming others in the Hammer family.

Casey Hammer shared there were no social media platforms back then, so people simply thought that torturing people with firearms, drugs, and violence while harboring a large number of teenage prostitutes was the standard for affluent people in Los Angeles. She added that that was everything happening behind the closed doors and no one knew about it because once they walked outside, my grandpa Armand Hammer controlled the story, and as long as the members did not disgrace him, were camera-ready, and performed correctly, everything was okay. She admitted the family members were also threatened with punishment and shunned if they made any mistakes.

When Armand Hammer passed away, the 30-year-old woman had to give up her job as an interior designer to watch over her father Julian Hammer so he wouldn't blow his brains out. Casey claimed that her father frequently experienced delusions and would vent them on her when under the influence of cocaine and meth.

She recalls that she let her father, Julian Hammer held a.357 Magnum to her temple and he forced her to open her eyes every hour to check if she was possessed by aliens, and if she was, he was going to shoot her. Casey added that she had decided to put herself in that circumstance as an adult for weeks. Although mental abuse may go much further in terms of brainwashing and domination, people tend to focus on physical and sexual abuse.

Casey responded that she is here to highlight accountability because in her family, there has been powerful, wealthy, generational bad behavior that has gone unaccountable, and it is now time for it to stop when asked why she was a part of the show that will essentially expose her family's secrets to the public. According to the former interior designer, when #MeToo first started, it made everyone aware of issues in the workplace, but a #MeToo for the home is necessary. She claims that in addition to telling her tale, the motivation for House of Hammer was to shed light on all of the "brilliant, intellectual women" who had been engulfed by the Hammer guys, even those who claimed were harmed by Armie Hammer.

The documentary series' focus on permission, according to Casey, is one of its most appealing aspects. She also noted that many viewers don't fully get what consent entails. She continued by saying that they are not there to judge people's choices or actions, but if someone is engaged in anything and it reaches a point where it no longer feels right or comfortable and they want to stop, the moment they say "no," it should stop; if it doesn't, it becomes illegal.

Whereas Casey Hammer wants her nephew to heal and take charge of his life back, she is also concerned about the victims, whom she thinks are brave to come forward and share their pain with the world and ask for help. She said that looking at the women coming forward empowered her and she hoped that this was going to help others come forward and say no to being abused.

It has been reported that the actor is preparing himself for the day when the three-part document-series releases and unveils the secrets of the Hammer family including his and although Armie has been sober and stays committed to being sober, his friends worry that the House of Hammer could maybe turn out to be a set back for him. They are positive and hopeful for the good for Armie Hammer

The three-part document series of House of Hammer comes out on September 2nd on Discovery+.
