Chrissy Teigen wants people to stop asking her if she’s pregnant!

The cookbook author, Chrissy Teigen revealed in her social media post on Saturday that she and John Legend are looking forward to expanding their family as she has begun IVF treatments. Chrissy Teigen conceived their daughter Luna Simone and later son Miles Theodore with the help of IVF treatments. The couple conceived their late son Jack naturally but unfortunately he passed away due to complications.

Chrissy Teigen said in her story, "Here we go again”, while sharing a picture of blood samples a few things required during the IVF process and later clarified in her post, "hiiii. I posted about it in my stories, but I wanted to let you guys know I'm balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos. I honestly don't mind the shots…they make me feel like a doctor/chemist…but the bloating is a bitch. So I humbly beg you to stop asking if I'm pregnant because while I know it's said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant! But also like please stop asking people, anyone, if they're pregnant.”

Chrissy Teigen urged her followers to stop asking people if they’re pregnant and said that if there was any such news; she would rather be the one to tell the news rather than someone else. She added, "I said this in the comments and got yelled at because the internet is wild but I'd rather be the one to tell you and not some poor woman who will look you in the eyes through tears and that's how you finally learn. Anyhow, Iove youuuuu??"

The news of the couple trying once again to expand their family comes after they lost their son Jack in September 2020 in the middle of their pregnancy. At the time of their late son’s death, Chrissy Teigen shared, "We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before. We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn't enough. We never decide on our babies' names until the last possible moment after they're born, just before we leave the hospital. But we, for some reason, had started to call this little guy in my belly Jack. So he will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever."

After losing Jack, Chrissy Teigen shared a picture of her body on her social media showcasing the bump. She caption, “This is me and my body, just yesterday. Even though I’m no longer pregnant, every glance in the mirror reminds me of what could have been. And I have no idea why i still have this bump, honestly. It’s frustrating. But I’m proud of where this entire journey took my body and mind in other ways. I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again. But I am lucky to have two amazing little ones who are transforming into big little people more and more every single day”.

During an interview in October with a parenting website, Chrissy Teigen revealed that the family travels with their late son’s ashes which is a practice that their kids Luna and Miles like to be involved in. Chrissy said, "Whether we go on a vacation or something, they always say, 'Don't forget baby Jack.' And then I have to pack him up’. And then we get to where we're going, they're like, 'Oh my gosh, he must be thirsty.' This might sound crazy to people, but they'll put a little glass of water next to his little box of ashes. And they really love being a part of it."

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been vocal about their hardships with losing their son Jack and last February, which was supposed to be Jack’s due date, Chrissy underwent surgery to treat endometriosis and in an interview with Refinery29 shared, “I'm in therapy and something that I talk about often is, I just don't understand how I can't [carry children] because I have a really healthy uterus now. I think one lingering thing is that Jack was so healthy, and it was just something with my body that was not right at that time. In my mind, I'm like, 'I need to try again, though. I want to try again. I believe my body's in a better place than it was.'"

Sending all the love and support to the couple!
